Working Title:The-World-Roundup
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:This show is going to be somewhat educational, but more
so entertaining and comedic. We will be joking about the news around the
world in all sorts of different ways.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre:Radio show / audio project
What sort of product is it
Content: My product will go from a jovial quiz/chat show which orientates
around the goings on in the world, where I and another “star” guest will
speak about interesting news headlines and give our thoughts on said report.
This will then lead onto “actual” news events, which are extremely serious
however there’s a twist, in which the audio will cut off suddenly leaving the
listeners confused and shaken, but I will act completely natural as if nothing
has happened, whereby I will carry on being jovial and comedic; basically its
dark humour.
It will then lead onto the sports news, where we will be speaking on and
speaking to sports fans, whom of which may have lost a game of football
therefore they will be overwhelmingly infuriated, which will lead to a small
amount of profanity, but most importantly laughter for the listeners as they
tune into outraged fans across the country screaming into a microphone. The
show will end on me and my guest thanking the listeners for tuning in.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a
story? If so, discuss it here
Audience: My primary audience is aimed at the 30-50 year old demographic,
whom of which enjoy slightly more mature comedy, with a few dark themes
here and there. But the fact that we speak on the news and what’s going on
in the world (both good and bad), you would assume that older audiences
would show more of an interest in said topics; with younger audiences
showing the complete opposite along with a short attention span.
Anyone can listen to this show, however if you don’t have much of a sense of
humour, you may take some things as offensive material; but that’s a simple
matter of personal opinion.
I won’t purposely offend any ethnicities, genders or religious groups as that
is just a step too far, but I’ll try and give my honest opinion on a plethora of
different reports and topics, but mainly the more absurd topics which will
give the listeners a laugh.

Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
 As mentioned previously I won’t purposely offend any ethnicities, genders
or religious groups as that is just a step too far, but I’ll try and give my
honest opinion on a plethora of different reports and topics, but mainly the
more absurd topics which will give the listeners a laugh.
 I think this show should have a 16+ requirement age due to the overall
theme of the show and what topics we may speak about, e.g. news
headlines.
 I can’t ensure I won’t offend anyone, as everyone has different views on
certain topics, but I can ensure I won’t intentionally offend anyone, through
any means.
 I won’t be using characters/names/logos or existing products.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for
copyright infringement?

Anyone can listen to this show, however if you don’t have much of a sense of humour, you may take some things as offensive material; but that’s a simple matter of personal opinion. Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
