Not a lot of the background will be in the footage. Suitability of location: Lighting: The lighting of the room is quite dark the main lights aren’t very bright. This is suitable for filming as the character is seen as quite a dark character so this type of lighting will reflect his personality well. As well as that, the scene is a memory. I will not be adding additional lighting. Noise level: The noise level can be quite noisy at times as younger children do live there, this will not be suitable for filming as I need dead silence. But there will be times when the children are not there so I can film what I need to therefore it is possible to film the scene to the standard that I need. Potential hazards: There are a couple of potential hazards in the house. One could be that you could trip over things that may be in the way, or things that were placed somewhere you were unaware of. Above where the actor will be sitting, there are shelves which have photo’s on them therefore, this could be hazardous as the photos could potentially fall down onto the actor. Overall suitability: The location is definitely suitable for my scene. It fits well with the thriller genre which is what I want. There is enough space for me to film there and enough space to walk around and move things if I needed to. Also the location is perfectly accessible as I live there so there will be no trouble getting there.
