school in the heart of Balsall Heath
that supports young people who
have experienced difficulties in main
stream education.
• They provide a welcoming
environment for key stage 3 and 4
(12-19 years old) pupils who have
behavioural and special educational
needs.
• They offer pupils the opportunity to
learn in small supportive classes,
enabling them to reach their full
potential.

Sutherland House School, Nottingham.
• Sutherland House School is a specialist
day school for pupils and students with
autism. They make provision for up to
94 pupils and students between the ages
of 3 and 19 years.
• Pupils attend on a daily basis and are
placed by Local Authorities throughout
the East Midlands.
• Their overall objective at the school is to
provide the highest quality specialist
education – addressing the specific
needs of autism as well as the
individuality of each pupil and his or her
family

St Paul’s Development Trust, Birmingham • St Paul’s is a small independent school in the heart of Balsall Heath that supports young people who have experienced difficulties in main stream education. • They provide a welcoming environment for key stage 3 and 4 (12-19 years old) pupils who have behavioural and special educational needs. • They offer pupils the opportunity to learn in small supportive classes, enabling them to reach their full potential. • NTU has already approached the Head Teacher • St. Paul's Community Development Trust Hertford Street Balsall Heath B12 8NJ 25 January 2015 2
  • 3. Sutherland House School, Nottingham. • Sutherland House School is a specialist day school for pupils and students with autism.
