This proposal is for a horror movie titled "I Don't Die!" about a serial killer clown who is difficult to kill. The proposal discusses creating posters and DVD covers to promote the movie. The genre will be horror based on the killer clown character and scary trailer scenes. Research into clowns informed the killer's mask design. The intended audience is 18+ males who would relate to the main character's issues. Care was taken to avoid offending audiences and copyright infringement by not using existing characters or logos and getting feedback on potentially offensive content.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Working Title: I Don’t Die!
This is because the movie is about a serial killer that will not lose, it is hard to kill him, but
to also show how the hero in the story won’t give up fighting against the killer.
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
The product will be used to entertain. I will accomplish this by making posters and DVD
covers to promote a new movie.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre:
The genre will be horror. I will achieve this based on the look of the killer, as I will make him
look like a clown as in my survey clowns. The trailer will be scary too, as there will be
someone get murdered in some off the shots. Finally on the DVD cover and poster there
will be red and black colouring which connotes dark and mystery.
What sort of product is it
Content:
My final products went better than I expected. The DVD cover looks amazing, asit shows
the characteristics of the main character as a psychopath but also, shows a little bit off the
story line without showing too much. The Poster went pretty good, as it shows off the
horror genre with the colour scheme of black and red, the mask also helps show what the
movie will be about. Finally, the trailer was not as good as I had planned it. It showed off
that it will be about a killer wearing a clown mask but, does not really look like a horror
movie.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Research & Planning:
I will be using most of what I researched into my products such as the clown mask. The
clown mask will be in the centre of the cover as it will show off the main character, giving
the audience an idea off what they can expect with the movie. The colour scheme will also
be a common theme through my project being on all my projects. This will show the
audience the genre of horror on the products.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
Audience:
My audience will be 18+, because of the explicit content that will be used throughout the
project. The gender will be male because of the main character being male, making it easier
to relate to the issues he is suffering in the movie.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
I don’t think it will offend anyone as it doesn’t include any stereotypes. To make sure no
one gets offended I will ask different genders, ages and races whether it offends them or
not. I will not be using any exciting products like a logo or names. I will restrict anyone
younger than 18 because of the amount of gory violence that will be used.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
