3D printing is the process of building an object one thin layer at a time. It is fundamentally additive rather than subtractive in nature. To many, 3D printing is the singular production of often-ornate objects on a desktop printer.

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. In an additive process an object is created by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created. Each of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross-section of the eventual object.

3D Printing is basically a process for making a physical object from a three dimensional computer aided design CAD file via a layering approach. It encompasses many forms of technologies and materials as 3D printing is being used in almost all industries. 3D printers are a new generation of machines that can make pretty much anything from ceramic cups to plastic toys. They have become affordable enough to hit the mainstream. 3D printer can be purchased online or in stores, which gives people the ability to print items from anywhere in the world. 3D Printing
Additive manufacturing, also referred to as three-dimensional or 3D printing, is a process of
making a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model. 3D printing
is achieved using an additive process where successive layers of material are laid down in
different shapes. 3D printing is also considered distinct from traditional machining techniques,
which mostly rely on the “subtractive processes” of removing material by methods such as
cutting or drilling. A 3D printer is a limited type of industrial robot that is capable of carrying out
an additive process under computer control.
Additive manufacturing takes virtual blueprints from computer aided design (CAD) or animation
modeling software and “slices” them into digital cross-sections for the machine to successively
use as a guideline for printing. Depending on the machine used, material or a binding material is
deposited on the build bed or platform until m ...

Water billing management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Our project entitled “Water Billing Management System” aims is to generate Water bill with all the charges and penalty. Manual system that is employed is extremely laborious and quite inadequate. It only makes the process more difficult and hard.
The aim of our project is to develop a system that is meant to partially computerize the work performed in the Water Board like generating monthly Water bill, record of consuming unit of water, store record of the customer and previous unpaid record.
We used HTML/PHP as front end and MYSQL as back end for developing our project. HTML is primarily a visual design environment. We can create a android application by designing the form and that make up the user interface. Adding android application code to the form and the objects such as buttons and text boxes on them and adding any required support code in additional modular.

Hybrid optimization of pumped hydro system and solar- Engr. Abdul-Azeez.pdffxintegritypublishin
Advancements in technology unveil a myriad of electrical and electronic breakthroughs geared towards efficiently harnessing limited resources to meet human energy demands. The optimization of hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems plays a pivotal role in utilizing natural resources effectively. This initiative not only benefits humanity but also fosters environmental sustainability. The study investigated the design optimization of these hybrid systems, focusing on understanding solar radiation patterns, identifying geographical influences on solar radiation, formulating a mathematical model for system optimization, and determining the optimal configuration of PV panels and pumped hydro storage. Through a comparative analysis approach and eight weeks of data collection, the study addressed key research questions related to solar radiation patterns and optimal system design. The findings highlighted regions with heightened solar radiation levels, showcasing substantial potential for power generation and emphasizing the system's efficiency. Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Optimizing the design of solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems as examined across diverse climatic conditions in a developing country, not only enhances power generation but also improves the integration of renewable energy sources and boosts energy storage capacities, particularly beneficial for less economically prosperous regions. Additionally, the study provides valuable insights for advancing energy research in economically viable areas. Recommendations included conducting site-specific assessments, utilizing advanced modeling tools, implementing regular maintenance protocols, and enhancing communication among system components.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

5. Market Report
Additive Manufacturing (3DP) has received much attention in the press over recent
years. Hyped as the technology to bring about a 3rd industrial revolution, Additive
Manufacturing (3DP) technologies were in fact invented in the early 80s. They
remained a niche technology until the expiration of a key patent in 2009 allowed
many start-ups to emerge offering cheap consumer-level 3D printers. A media
frenzy in 2012 thrust Additive Manufacturing (3DP) into the limelight and 2016
has seen Hewlett Packard and General Electric enter the Additive Manufacturing
(3DP) space. Even after the media hype some market sectors are still reporting
huge growth rates.
1. According to Wohlers Report 2014, the worldwide Additive Manufacturing (3DP) industry is now expected to grow from $3.07B in revenue in 2013 to $12.8B by 2018, and exceed $21B in
worldwide revenue by 2020.
