Abstract: Environment in developing countries like India have been threatened by problems like poverty, pollution, overpopulation, degradation and depletion of environment. As such, the environmental protection and preservation has been an urgent need of the hour. Realizing its importance, it has been enshrined in the Constitution of India, which requires both the state and the citizen to protect, preserve and improve the environment. Considering the seriousness of the problem only inclusion in Constitution will not help a lot in preserving our environment, but the issue should be initiated at the grass root level i.e. in family, school and society. In the changing scenario of our society attitude of an individual are greatly affected by family, teachers, school environment, teaching methods, learning styles and many other factors and they all have a great impact on the personality development of the child. The Effect of Parenting Style and Classroom Environment on the Mathematics Pe...ijtsrd
This paper aimed to investigate the relationship of parenting style and classroom environment on the mathematics performance of the students. The data was collected in 300 college students in Bukidnon State University. These students were already taken up Mathematics. The students were grouped by colleges and randomly selected. An adopted 5 point scale questionnaire was used in gathering information about the parenting style and attitude towards classroom environment. Their mathematics grade was also asked to measure their mathematics performance. It was found out that parents are dominantly using authoritative parenting they enforce rules but also welcome and open in the opinion and feelings of their children. However, in some situation they have to strictly imposed rules. Permissive parenting has no direct effect on math performance but has an indirect effect through authoritative parenting. Parents don’t just neglect their children and let them do whatever they want. Parents who are guiding their parents, implementing rules but giving them freedom to choose motivate the students to perform better in the class. Student raised by authoritative parents and taught with an effective teaching style motivate the student to participate in classroom activities, thus, improve his her academic performance. Lynn M. Investigations were carried out to see the effect of pesticide 'companion' on the proximal composition and enzyme namely amylase, GOT and GPT of whole green gram in the early stages of germination. The findings revealed that the pesticides increase the enzyme activity in the early stages of germination and thus increase the metabolic rate. The Vitamin-C content was also enhanced with the use of pesticide, but there was a decrease in the proximal composition of the gram when treated with pesticide.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

citizen and therefore upon educationopportunities for
all. At the present time adolescents of high school
spend for more time in school than they did years ago.
Due to the present structure of the high school, they
are segregated with peers who are close to them in
chronological age.At the same time, theyare deprived
of contact with adults for a large part of the day with
few exceptions.
High school students have strong needs to
understand and influence their environment. Unfortu-
nately all schools too often provide students with lim-
ited opportunities for meeting these needs. Indeed
significant number of students seems to view schools
as confusing places in which they have little or no
ability to influence their environment.

3 To study the school environment effect on the IX
standard students of granted and non-granted
schools of Ahmedabad District.
4 To study the school environment effect on the IX
standard students of rural and urban area schools
ofAhmedabad District.
HypothesisoftheStudy
Ho1: There will be no significant difference between
the mean scores of the school environment effect on
the boys and girls of the IX standard students of
Ahmedabad District.
Ho2 : There will be no significant difference between
the mean scores of the school environment effect on
the IX standard students of granted and non-granted
schools of Ahmedabad District.
Ho3: There will be no significant difference between
the mean scores of the school environment effect on
theIXstandardstudentsofruralandurbanareaschools
ofAhmedabad District.
AnalysisandInterpretationof theData
In the present study, for testing the hypoth-
esis three statistical techniques were used by the re-
searcher that is mean, standard deviation and t-test for
the analysis interpretation of data.
Ho1: There will be no significant difference between
the mean scores of the school environment effect on
the boys and girls of the IX standard of Ahmedabad
District.
Table .1 Mean scores of the school environment effects on the boys and
girls of the IX standard students of Ahmedabad District.
Sr. Gender N Mean S.D t-Value Significant
No Level
1. Boys 160 179.32 26.56 0.015 Non-Significant
2. Girls 160 186.98 23.22
t0.05 = 1.96 >tcal = 0.015
Fromthetable-1itisevidentthatthetcal=0.015which
is less than the t0.05 level = 1.96 to which that the t-
value is not significant at 0.05 level of significance.
Hence the hypothesis that " there will be no significant
difference between the mean scores of the school en-
vironment effect on the boys and girls of the IX stan-
dard "will not be rejected at 0.05 levels. It means that
there is no significant difference between the school

Conclusion
The researcher has tried the level best to give
proper weightage to the present study within certain
limitation.Theresearcherhastakencarewhileaccom-
plishing each task ofthe research. The researcher have
discussed about the origin of the problem, sample of
the study, tool of the study analysis and interpretation
of the data. Thus, the whole overview of research de-
sign was presented in a systematic manner.
In this research work ,the researcher did the
analysis and interpretation of data by using various
statistical methods like mean, standard deviation and
t-test. On the basis of derived results, the researcher
interrelated whether the framed null hypothesis was
rejected. Thus researcher found out the school envi-
ronment effect on the IX `standard students of
Ahmedabad District.
