2. Process
When creating this magazine I firstly looked
at exiting fish magazines and tried to
replicate it. Then I thought of a catchy short
title which would be easy to say. I then chose
a black font and made it a size so that you
can easily see it.
When looking at other existing
magazines I saw that many of them
included a picture of someone who has
bought a fish therefore I included one so
that my magazine would relate to the
genre conventions.
i also included words such as win , free and
exclusive , this is because it engages the reader.
These words also relate to the typical magazine
conventions.
3. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
• I will include a barcode in my magazine , this is because this is in all magazine
covers. I will also include a main image and a bold large masthead , this is because
then people can easily identify the magazine and the magazine genre. I will also
include things that are in the magazine on my cover as it gives the audience and
insight of what is happening in the magazine. Finally I will include words such as
win , exclusive and free , this is so that it makes the audience want to buy the
magazine.
