Lily Blackburn is seeking a position in a restaurant, food service, or as a barista. n Old Town Coffee & Chocolates- Barista/Retailer: Opened the shop single-handedly and closed with
coworkers. Occasionally aided candy-makers in preparing for holidays and special events at the shop, worked as
barista, food prep and cashier. August 2011- February 2013
n RiverSong Natural Foods- Cashier, stocker, deli: prepped ingredients for smoothies, juices, and deli
food items by chopping, grating, mixing and stocking fresh veggies and fruit. Also worked the cash register,
stocked/cleaned/arranged the beverage and dairy cooler and produce display. Also created product displays for
sales and promotional products. July 2010- August 2011 & Summer of 2013
n Zupan’s Marketplace- Cashier: worked mainly as a front of the house cashier and bag clerk, trained on
stocking shelves and facing products Fall 2013
n Grand Central Bakery- Retailer/Opener: trained as a retail opener to fill in for assistant manager when
necessary (organizing pastries and bread for display), closing the café frequently. Trained as a barista through
opening the coffee/espresso bar and receiving one-on-one instruction with local roaster representatives.
Prepping and assembly of all GCB menu sandwich/salad items, including but not limited to practicing knife
safety at all times and operating a flat top grill October 2013-present

Completed two years at College of the Redwoods community college with a focus on English/Literature studies and
Humanities. Finished with an average GPA of 3.4. Became certified as an English tutor.
