Career Goals
Obtain a position in marketing and sales of agronomic products and services, where I can use my
experience and knowledge to help the organization achieve its goals.
Education
Currently:
o Attending Michigan State University with senior status. Majoring in Agribusiness Management
with minor in Agronomy. Current GPA of 3.5.
Employment
o Intern Crop Scout for Cropwatch, May 2016-August 2016. Scouting duties included
determining population and yield estimates, encountering, identifying, and reporting weeds,
pests, and diseases.
o Field Worker/Manager at Geldersma Farms July 2008 - October 2014. Duties included planting,
maintaining, harvesting, multiple types of fruits and vegetables. Responsible for operating
market, training employees, and following food safety regulations.
o Puller at Kent County Conservation League from January 2012-June 2013 and January 2015-
August 2015. Range safety officer, general grounds and equipment maintenance.
o Seasonal labor and retail sales employee at Hart Tree Farm in October - December of 2014 and
October –December 2015. Harvesting and preparation for sale of Christmas trees along with
retail service.
School Activities and Awards
FFA:
o Served as Chapter Treasurer and Vice President. Served one term as Regional Treasurer.
Received awards in leadership and skills contests including Public Speaking and Forestry.
Received American Degree fall 2015.
Sports:
o Varsity track and cross country. Captain of cross country team.

o St. Patrick’s Middle School Track and Field coach 2009-2012.
Kent County Youth Fair:
o Member of Milky Way 4-H club. Raised 2013 Grand Champion Dairy Feeder Steer. 2014 Dairy
Market supreme showman. 2015 Dairy Market senior showmanship winner. 2015 Diary Market
average daily gain contest winner. Showed dairy heifers 2012-2014.
