This document outlines the rules and schedule for StartupYard's 2013 accelerator program. The 6-month program includes daily mentorship sessions, weekly events and workshops, and a demo day presentation at the end. Teams will have access to mentors, experts, and a shared office space. They are expected to actively engage with mentors and provide monthly progress reports on their plans, finances, and problems. The goal is to help teams launch their businesses by the end of the 3-month acceleration period.

16. Best Practices for Mentors
•Schedule a half-day at SY to go through all
teams (15-45’ each) at first
•Be open, ask questions (even dumb ones), play
the devils advocate
•Agree on at least 1 thing with each team that
they will do or discuss, with a deadline
•Try to schedule a follow up meeting with at least
half of the teams
