Hello. I am supposed to be dead, I am not and I have no idea why. I woke up in a hotel room without
any memory. Then I looked at a television and almost had a heart attack. I was wanted for murder. The

The Man in the River As I reach the middle of the pedestrian crossing on the east side of Wayne
Gretzky drive, I come to a dead halt. I stand on the bottom of the beige guard railing; pressing my
chest against it as I hang my head down towards the North Saskatchewan. My shoulders feel the heat
of summer in the black shirt I stupidly decided to wear. There wasn t a cloud in the sky on this sunny

This semester has been filled with many different encounters and situations. Many different feelings
and people. My experience in this first semester is likely one that I won t forget, I will likely
remember my first semester at Badley until the bell tolls for me and I leave this current plain of

argument regarding famine, affluence, and morality is, in my opinion, strongly influenced by
sympathetic and empathetic feelings based on observations in a still developing country. In a sense,
his reasoning is subjective and biased because he seems to focus only on the problem, and not the
