This document summarizes a research study that examined the impact of parental education on the adjustment and anxiety levels of B.Ed. students in affiliated colleges of MDU. The study found significant differences in adjustment and anxiety between students whose parents had no education and those whose parents were highly educated. Specifically, students of illiterate parents had poorer adjustment and higher anxiety than students of highly educated parents. However, no significant differences were found between students of moderately educated parents and highly educated parents. The study recommends guidance, counseling, and stress-reducing activities to help students from less educated families improve their adjustment and reduce anxiety.
