The main objective of the topic is to compare mental health between rural and urban adolescent students of Chhattisgargh. A sample size of 200 secondary adolescent students was selected and taken up for the study. General Health Questionnaires-28 (GHQ-28), developed by Goldberg and Hillier in 1979 used for the study. It is found that there are significant differences among rural and urban students.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Adolescence is the period of rapid changes in physical and mental state. Rapid storm of physiological changes brigs a great deal of stress and adjustment difficulties. It represents one of the critical transitions in the life span with a wide range of adjustment and mental health problems. The present study is aimed to assess the impact of Mentor’s Strategic Communication on adjustment problems among adolescents. Methodology: A quasi experimental non-equivalent control group design was chosen to assess the impact of Mentor’s Strategic Communication by using Self developed Adjustment Inventory among 60 adolescents (30 each experimental and control group) with mild and moderate adjustment problems at selected schools, Kerala. The Samples were selected based on simple random sampling. Appropriate descriptive & inferential statistics was applied to compute the results. Results: Finding reveals that out of 30 students, 70% reported moderate adjustment problems while 30% were in mild adjustment issues in experimental group. There was a significant difference for adjustment problems among experimental and control group after Mentor’s strategic communication (p<0.001). Further, number of siblings (p<0.032) and education status of father (p<0.008) found significant association to adjustment problems among schools going adolescents. Conclusion: The results of the study revealed that majority of adolescents face adjustment problems and Mentor’s strategic communication had significant impact on improvement in adjustment problems. A planned and timely infusion of mentorship strategy may help them to deal with their day to day adjustment problems and help them to focus in studies in a better way. Role and Challenges of Psychiatric Social Worker.
Abstract—There is a scarcity of available studies in India on parental stress and depression among parents of children with intellectual disability. Present hospital based cross sectional analytical type of observational study was carried with the specific aims to assess and compare daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms among parents of children with various degree of intellectual disability. Total 90 randomly selected subjects ({both parents of mentally retarded (MR) children and normal children} were evaluated separately for daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms using the Family Interview for Stress and Coping and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale. According to Intelligence Quotient (IQ) of children, three groups were created: Group 'A' (30 parents of moderate to profound MR children), group 'B' (30 parents of mild to borderline MR children) and group 'C' (30 parents of children normal intelligence).IQ of the children was assessed by trained clinical psychologist and diagnosis was made as per ICD-10 criteria. Controls were taken from healthy volunteer and screened by two psychiatrists. A self designed, pre-tested & semi-structured detailed Performa was used for socio-demographical and clinical profile. The data were analyzed using SPSS trial version. Parents in group 'A' had significantly higher level of daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms than groups 'B' and 'C', group 'B' parents had higher level of daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms than group 'C'. Mothers experienced greater depressive symptoms and daily parenting stress compared to fathers. A positive correlation was found between daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms and negative correlation was found between IQ of the children and the daily parenting stress and depressive symptoms.

Psychiatric Social Work Intervention for Social Rejection of persons with Sch...inventionjournals
It is widely acknowledged that schizophrenic patients have major deficits in social functioning in the community. The intervention to improve these deficits is inadequate in rural areas in India. The aim is to ascertain impact of structured psychiatric social work intervention for management of social rejection of persons with schizophrenia in rural areas. The sample consisted of thirty persons with schizophrenia and significant family members. A proportionate sample covering heterogeneous socio demographic background was drawn using simple random sampling technique. It was followed a Before-After Experimental Research Design Without Control Group. The social rejection and orientation towards mental illness were assessed before and after psychiatric social work intervention using Patient Rejection Scale and Orientation towards Mental Illness Scale. After psychiatric social work intervention overall there were changes in the domains of social rejection and orientation towards mental illness. The results have indicated that the psychiatric social work intervention has contributed to improve the social functioning of the patients in rural areas. Results have shown the changes in all the domains of social rejections and orientation towards mental illness significantly. Conducting similar studies in different settings would contribute to the psychiatric social work knowledge in future

Abstract: Personality is a dynamic and organized set of characteristics possessed by a person that uniquely influences their environment, cognition, emotions, motivations and behavioral science in various situations. The major objective of the present study was to assess the personality dynamics of students who belong to Dental college of Bhopal. Population of the present study included all female and male students (hostellers and day scholars) studying in Peoples University, Bhopal. For the present study students of dental college were randomly selected. Simple random sampling technique was used to select the sample of 200 students with age ranging from 19 years to 30 years out of which 50 male and 50 female students were selected among the day scholars of the college and same number of male and female students from hostel. Gender wise analysis indicated that female students exhibited high vulnerability for Anxiety and Depression than male students, while male students exhibited inclination towards Extraversion as compared to female college students. On the other hand both type of students presented same levels of Conscientiousness, Agreeableness, and Openness.

ABSTRACT: Academic Achievement is the first and importance in the context of an education system aimed at progressive scholastic development of the students success in any academic task has always been of special interest to educators, parents and society at large (Ajayi, 2006). In fact, complete education system revolves around the sole objective of academic achievement of students. Today mental health issues in adolescents are considered as a growing concern in the School and for the community counsellors and educators. The present era of educational scene is changing very rapidly due to increasing competition in every sphere of life. This stress is reflected in their academic performance. The sample was comprised of 100 students including 50 girls and 50 boys of Private schools of Chandigarh. In order to see the Academic achievement of X class adolescents of Chandigarh in relation to their Mental Health. The study was an attempt to find out the relationship between the academic achievement and their mental health. For analyzing the data correlation and t-test was used. The results revealed there is positive correlation between Academic Achievement and mental health, which means if Mental Health is high the academic score will be high and vice versa and there is no significant difference between boys and girls on the variable Academic achievement and mental health

This study was conducted in two countries i.e. India and Lesotho to understand the depression levels among the colleges’
students. As we know depression as a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects the feelings,
thinking and actions of humans. Depression is affecting many students at colleges and universities. It is observed in
the review of literature 30 per cent of the students are experienced depression during their education. The aim of the
present study is to know about the prevalence, major reasons, and major characteristics of depression among student
youth. It is a quantitative study adopted convenience sampling method and collected the data from 220 students. This
study adopted the Beck’s Depression Inventory scale to understand the depression among young students. This
study found that out of 220 students, 42.7% is normal while the remaining 57.3 % is having the other levels of
depression (Mild mood disturbance (16.2%), Borderline clinical depression (8.2%), Moderate depression (23.6%),
severe depression (6.4%) and Extreme depression (2.3%).) The study observed that the coping strength is getting from
religious activities (42.7%), positive re framing (21.4%), support from peers (20.0%). Others like humor (13.6%),
participating in sports (12.7%), and seeking emotional help are also helping the individuals to come out from their
depression and do their regular social functioning. The study suggested that the students should ventilate their
thoughts, fears with trusted people like family members, friends and teachers. The universities and the colleges should
conduct the yoga and meditation camps occasionally which provide the healthy and happy life.

participating in sports (12.7%), and seeking emotional help are also helping the individuals to come out from their
depression and do their regular social functioning. The study suggested that the students should ventilate their
thoughts, fears with trusted people like family members, friends and teachers. The universities and the colleges should
conduct the yoga and meditation camps occasionally which provide the healthy and happy life.

Mental health problems are very worldwide among adolescent. This may be due to the truth that attending family members to a difficult time for many traditional and non traditional among adolescent. Adolescent after effecting high school are typically younger, depend on parents for financial support, and do not work or work part time. Thus, in addition to stress related to academic load, these adolescent may have to face the task of taking on more adult like responsibilities lacking having yet mastered the skills and cognitive maturity of adulthood. Stress, life events, past experiences and genetics all play a part in determining our mental health. Student life exposes individuals to risk factors affecting mental health including financial worries, periods of transition, substance use, parental pressure, culture shock and disconnection from previous supports. Descriptive research design and simple random sampling technique was adopted for the study. A sample size of 60 people was collected using planned interviews. ABSTRACT: Spiritual Intelligence and Social Adjustment are the two psychological constructs, which scaffold each individual in the modern world to lead a value-oriented and mentally healthy life. This study aims to investigate the level of spiritual Intelligence among higher secondary students in relation to their social adjustment. For this purpose, data collected from 320 higher secondary students from various higher secondary schools of Thrissur district. The tool used for the collection of data was a Spiritual Intelligence Inventoryand Social Adjustment for higher secondary students, developed by the investigator and standardized. The results revealed that higher secondary students are having low level of Spiritual Intelligence. There is no significant difference in the Spiritual Intelligence among higher secondary school boys and girls. Rural andGovernment higher secondary school students are having a higher level of Spiritual Intelligence than Urban and Private school students are.Spiritual Intelligence and Social Adjustment are highly correlated. This study suggested that the school authorities should take immediate measures to provide adequate training for developing Spiritual Intelligence and Social Adjustment in them.

Background Adolescence is a stage of human development that occurs in between childhood and adulthood. Behavioural and emotional pattern experienced across adolescence can spiral into positive or negative outcome processes. Objectives To assess the pre test and post test level of stress and find out the effectiveness of mindfulness based stress reduction therapy, and to associate the post test stress score with their selected demographic variables. Methods and materials A pre experimental design was chosen. Non probability purposive sampling technique used to select the sample of 90 school students. Perceived stress scale was used to assess the stress level. Results effectiveness of the study point was estimate of 18.57 and interval estimate was 16.40 to 20.72 . Mean difference with 95 CI. Discussion Dawn Bazarko et al 2013 explained that the mindfulness was decreased the stress level p 0.001 . This was supported to my study. So, mindfulness had significant to reduce stress level among the adolescent students. Conclusion Statistical significance was calculated by using chi square test and student independent t test. So, mindfulness based stress reduction therapy had significant impact on reducing stress among the adolescent students. Mindfulness therapy is safer and more effective intervention in all settings. The journal represent psychology by studying changes in the mind and psychology through exploration of health worsening and quality of life. Gender nonconformity refers to a scenario where individuals exhibit characteristics that are common with the opposite gender. Gender nonconforming persons complain of discrimination from both sides of gender. The study identified everyday stressors facing gender non-conforming persons, which were compared to health-related quality of life (HRQRL) while focusing on young people as respondents.
Research findings revealed that gender nonconformity was directly related to several social problems such as discernment that may lead to the development of mental illnesses. Respondents identified; depression, discomfort, unusual activity, and mobility obstinacy as common problems they go through. The study recommended an aggregated initiative from all social quarters to put up efforts focused awareness on gender nonconformity. In relation to the research question, gender non-conformity on of the reasons why young people are discriminated. To deal with stigma and discernment, aggregated efforts are required to promote awareness and change a social behavior.

The results revealed a positive relationship between differential scores and stereotypes and a negative correlation with affirming attitudes. In conclusion, the study showed an efficient ration of stigma change where individuals have gone through mental illness as their perception shift following their experience. Evaluation of the Quality of Life for Parents and Caregivers of Adults with I...Remedypublications1
The quality of life is an important component in the development of target interventions related
to the inclusion of families in the wider social community. The goal of this research was to test the
degree of the quality of life for parents and custodians of adults with intellectual disabilities as a
whole and by domains and to check the relationship of the quality of life and socio-demographic
features of the participants in this research. Forty parents of adults with intellectual disability took
part in the study. A convenience sample from the area of the city of Zagreb and the Zagreb County
was used in referential centres and associations caring for adult with intellectual disabilities older
than 21 years of age. For the purpose of this study, we have used the Personal Wellbeing Index for
the evaluation of the quality of life and welfare of parents and custodians of persons with intellectual
disabilities. The results of the research indicate that the perceived quality of life of the parents does
not deviate from the values that can be found in the healthy population. Parents have also evaluated
the quality of life of their children and the result has shown that they are moderately satisfied. There
is a major connection between the evaluation of the quality of life of the parents and their evaluation
of the quality of life of their children. The more satisfied parents are with their quality of life, i.e.
the better they estimate their personal welfare, the better are the evaluations for the quality of life
of their children. The research results point that there is no statistically significant difference in the
evaluation of the quality of life between the groups that differ with regard to: gender, inclusion in the
physical activity and presence of other disabilities.
This study aimed at finding out the effects of social life adjustment on the academic achievements of adolescents in secondary schools in the North West Region of Cameroon and also to verify if the social life adjustment and academic achievement apply equally for both male and female. Four hundred and eighty (480) students were randomly sampled from three secondary schools in major urban areas of the Region. The descriptive survey design was used for the study. A self-constructed questionnaire with the Likert scale on social life adjustment was used to gather the necessary data. Two null hypotheses were formulated and tested at the 0.05 level of significance. The data were analysed using the chi-square and Fishers’ Z scores for gender. The findings revealed that social life adjustment had significant influence on students’ academic achievements in secondary schools in the North West Region of Cameroon. It was also found that there exist no significant difference in the effects of social life adjustment on academic performance between boys and girls. Based on these findings, it was recommended amongst others that, counsellors should constantly monitor and guide adolescents properly during class periods, recess periods and extracurricular activities in order for them to achieve academically. Em consonância com os ODS – Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável e a Estratégia Global para a Saúde das Mulheres, Crianças e Adolescentes, e aplicando uma abordagem baseada nos direitos humanos, os esforços de cuidados pós-natais devem expandir-se para além da cobertura e da simples sobrevivência, de modo a incluir cuidados de qualidade.
Estas diretrizes visam melhorar a qualidade dos cuidados pós-natais essenciais e de rotina prestados às mulheres e aos recém-nascidos, com o objetivo final de melhorar a saúde e o bem-estar materno e neonatal.
Uma “experiência pós-natal positiva” é um resultado importante para todas as mulheres que dão à luz e para os seus recém-nascidos, estabelecendo as bases para a melhoria da saúde e do bem-estar a curto e longo prazo. Uma experiência pós-natal positiva é definida como aquela em que as mulheres, pessoas que gestam, os recém-nascidos, os casais, os pais, os cuidadores e as famílias recebem informação consistente, garantia e apoio de profissionais de saúde motivados; e onde um sistema de saúde flexível e com recursos reconheça as necessidades das mulheres e dos bebês e respeite o seu contexto cultural.
Estas diretrizes consolidadas apresentam algumas recomendações novas e já bem fundamentadas sobre cuidados pós-natais de rotina para mulheres e neonatos que recebem cuidados no pós-parto em unidades de saúde ou na comunidade, independentemente dos recursos disponíveis.
É fornecido um conjunto abrangente de recomendações para cuidados durante o período puerperal, com ênfase nos cuidados essenciais que todas as mulheres e recém-nascidos devem receber, e com a devida atenção à qualidade dos cuidados; isto é, a entrega e a experiência do cuidado recebido. Estas diretrizes atualizam e ampliam as recomendações da OMS de 2014 sobre cuidados pós-natais da mãe e do recém-nascido e complementam as atuais diretrizes da OMS sobre a gestão de complicações pós-natais.

RESULTS: Overall life span (LS) was 2252.1±1742.5 days and cumulative 5-year survival (5YS) reached 73.2%, 10 years – 64.8%, 20 years – 42.5%. 513 LCP lived more than 5 years (LS=3124.6±1525.6 days), 148 LCP – more than 10 years (LS=5054.4±1504.1 days).199 LCP died because of LC (LS=562.7±374.5 days). 5YS of LCP after bi/lobectomies was significantly superior in comparison with LCP after pneumonectomies (78.1% vs.63.7%, P=0.00001 by log-rank test). AT significantly improved 5YS (66.3% vs. 34.8%) (P=0.00000 by log-rank test) only for LCP with N1-2. Cox modeling displayed that 5YS of LCP significantly depended on: phase transition (PT) early-invasive LC in terms of synergetics, PT N0—N12, cell ratio factors (ratio between cancer cells- CC and blood cells subpopulations), G1-3, histology, glucose, AT, blood cell circuit, prothrombin index, heparin tolerance, recalcification time (P=0.000-0.038). Neural networks, genetic algorithm selection and bootstrap simulation revealed relationships between 5YS and PT early-invasive LC (rank=1), PT N0—N12 (rank=2), thrombocytes/CC (3), erythrocytes/CC (4), eosinophils/CC (5), healthy cells/CC (6), lymphocytes/CC (7), segmented neutrophils/CC (8), stick neutrophils/CC (9), monocytes/CC (10); leucocytes/CC (11). Correct prediction of 5YS was 100% by neural networks computing (area under ROC curve=1.0; error=0.0).
CONCLUSIONS: 5YS of LCP after radical procedures significantly depended on: 1) PT early-invasive cancer; 2) PT N0--N12; 3) cell ratio factors; 4) blood cell circuit; 5) biochemical factors; 6) hemostasis system; 7) AT; 8) LC characteristics; 9) LC cell dynamics; 10) surgery type: lobectomy/pneumonectomy; 11) anthropometric data. Optimal diagnosis and treatment strategies for LC are: 1) screening and early detection of LC; 2) availability of experienced thoracic surgeons because of complexity of radical procedures; 3) aggressive en block surgery and adequate lymph node dissection for completeness; 4) precise prediction; 5) adjuvant chemoimmunoradiotherapy for LCP with unfavorable prognosis.

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, will provide insight into new directions in targeted therapeutic approaches for older adults with mantle cell lymphoma.
STATEMENT OF NEED
Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is a rare, aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) accounting for 5% to 7% of all lymphomas. Its prognosis ranges from indolent disease that does not require treatment for years to very aggressive disease, which is associated with poor survival (Silkenstedt et al, 2021). Typically, MCL is diagnosed at advanced stage and in older patients who cannot tolerate intensive therapy (NCCN, 2022). Although recent advances have slightly increased remission rates, recurrence and relapse remain very common, leading to a median overall survival between 3 and 6 years (LLS, 2021). Though there are several effective options, progress is still needed towards establishing an accepted frontline approach for MCL (Castellino et al, 2022). Treatment selection and management of MCL are complicated by the heterogeneity of prognosis, advanced age and comorbidities of patients, and lack of an established standard approach for treatment, making it vital that clinicians be familiar with the latest research and advances in this area. In this activity chaired by Michael Wang, MD, Professor in the Department of Lymphoma & Myeloma at MD Anderson Cancer Center, expert faculty will discuss prognostic factors informing treatment, the promising results of recent trials in new therapeutic approaches, and the implications of treatment resistance in therapeutic selection for MCL.

A study on attitude of college teachers and students of Guwahati
towards the mentally ill

ABSTRACT: In developing countries like India, there are evidences that stigma associated with mental illness
is increasing. As in parts of the developing world, with advancement of urbanization and rapid industrialization,
people tend to react in a very peculiar and biased way when they confront a mentally ill person. The present
study aimed to find out college students and teachers attitude towards mentally ill. A total of 62 students and
teachers (31teachers and 31 students) from guwahati were purposively recruited for the study, Community
Attitude towards Mentally Ill (CAMI) Scale was administered to collect data. A significance difference was
observed between college teachers and students and also finds out the average mean of teachers and students
according the dimension of the CAMI scale.

I. INTRODUCTION
Illness refers to ill health, unfavorable on bad health. Illness can be either “physical” or “mental”.
Thereby “Mental Illness” is difficult to define. The current version of the DSM characterizes a mental disorder
as "a clinically significant behavioral or psychological syndrome or pattern that occurs in an individual [which]
is associated with present distress...or disability...or with a significant increased risk of suffering." It also notes
that "...no definition adequately specifies precise boundaries for the concept of 'mental disorder'...different
situations call for different definitions". It states that "there is no assumption that each category of mental
disorder is a completely discrete entity with absolute boundaries dividing it from other mental disorders or from
no mental disorder" (APA, 1994 and 2000).
Attitude refers to evaluation of various aspects of social world. Attitude plays an important role in
shaping the behavior of individual. Every individual is unique and everyone has different attitude towards
different situation. There are some stigma works on people’s attitude and these stigmas create on designs a
mental framework to perceive a situation and behave according to it. People also have some stigma towards
mental illness. For some it is favorable and for some it is unfavorable. Some individuals accept mentally ill
people in their community and some rejects them.
Stigma and negative attitude have harmful effects on mentally ill people. If people have stigma and
negative attitude towards mentally ill people, the mentally ill people can not change their thoughts, irrational
beliefs etc because they assumed that they are rejected and neglected from the society. So, it helps to grow their
mental illness.
Socall and Holtgraves (1992) found that participants rejected a confederate depicted as mentally ill
more than a physically ill confederate who behaved identically. Their finding showed that a mental illness label,
regardless of a person's behavior, can result in public rejection. Therefore, research on the attitudes toward
mental illness, specifically of those in mental health related fields, is necessary to ensure quality care to persons
with mental illness.
Causes of mental illness have been said to have a significant impact on the acceptance of the mentally
ill. Eker (1985b) studied the relationship between various attitudes toward mental illness in male and female
respondents. He suggested types of causes of mental illness by observing the effect on perception of behaviors
as suggestive of mental illness, social distance, and prognosis. The results determined that the type of cause had
no significant influence on judgments of mental illness, social distance, and prognosis.
1.1 Significance of the study:
Attitude about mental illness plays vital role in long-term care of mentally ill patients. Not only people
but patients who are mentally ill also frame a different picture about their illness which can be neutralizing by
public’s familiarity with serious mental illness, which subsequently will decrease stigma (Patrick et al., 2001).
People frame a picture about mental illness and mentally ill patients in their mind, which generally guides their
behavior, so public must be educated to bring about positive changes in attitude (Song et al., 2005). Studies in
India indicate that the public is largely misinformed about the various aspects of mental health, and information
possessed by them remains uncrystallized. According to the study the mentally ill are perceived as aggressive,

violent and dangerous and not fit for coexistence in society. There is still a tendency to maintain social distance
from mentally ill and to reject them socially which makes its existence to be felt. Studies addressing this issue
have pointed out that a great deal of misconceptions, superstitions and ignorance with regard to mental illness
exists in our society, which makes the picture more distorted.
1.2 Objectives of the study:
Present study is undertaken on the basis of these objectives:
1.2.1. To study the attitude of college teachers in guwahati towards mentally ill.
1.2.2. To study the attitude of college students in guwahati towards mentally ill.
1.3. Sample design:
A total 31 college teachers and 31 college students of guwahati city were purposively recruited for the
present study. The sample comprised of both males and females teachers and students.
1.4. Limitation of the Study
Small sample size, viz., 62 participants, (31 college teachers and 31 college students) is definitely not
good enough to make conclusive remarks with regard to attitude towards metal illnesses. The same study can be
replicated with a larger sample size and by including larger geographical areas.
II. TOOLS USED:
To measure the attitude towards mentally ill, the investigator has used the scale, Community Attitude
towards Mentally Ill (CAMI). This scale focused on discussion that one most strongly evaluative and at best
discriminate between those positively and negatively disposed towards the mentally ill and mental health
facilities. This scale includes 40 items with four dimensions. These are authoritarianism, benevolence, social
restrictiveness and community mental health ideology.
III. DATA COLLECTION
The survey technique under 'Descriptive method of Research' was used in the present investigation. 31
college students and 31 college teachers were randomly selected from Guwahati area for this purpose. We met
the students and teachers of colleges and interact with them and distributed the scale Community Attitude
towards Mentally Ill to them and collected the scale after completing the responses given by the students and
teachers.
IV. RESULT AND DISCUSSION:
On the basis of the response given by subjects, their questionnaires were scored. For our purpose, we
have pooled data in several ways to get scores on various dimensions. The t-test was applied to study the
attitude of college teachers and students towards mentally ill. The average mean is also applied to see the
attitude on all the four dimensions of each group.
The results presented in the Table 1 indicate that computed t-value is 1.07 which is lower than the
critical value at o.o5 and 0.01 levels. So the t value is found to be not significant at both the level. So there is no
significance difference in attitude towards mentally ill between college teachers and students.

The results presented in the Table 2 indicate that the average mean differences in the dimension of
Authoritarianism students have more scores than the teachers. In the dimension Benevolence we have seen that
the scores of average mean is more in teachers than the students which indicates that teachers have more
paternalistic and sympatric view of mentally ill. In the discussion of Social restrictiveness students’ scores more
than the teachers which indicate that students have more belief that the mentally ill are a treat to society and
should be avoided. In the dimension of Community mental health ideology, researchers found that teachers have
more acceptances to mentally ill patients in the community.
V. MAJOR FINDINGS
In this present study researcher found that
5.1. There is no difference in attitude towards mentally ill between college students and teachers.
5.2. The college students are more Authoritarianism than the college teachers.
5.3. The college teachers have more paternalistic and sympatric view of mentally ill than the college students.
5.4. Students have more belief that the mentally ill are a treat to society and should be avoided than college
students.
5.5. Researcher found that college teachers have more acceptances to mentally ill patients in the community.
VI. CONCLUSION
It has always been an important area of investigation among mental health professionals. Every section
of society has its unique way of perception about mental illness, particularly the young generation and college-
going students. College has remained the best place to develop a comprehensive mental health program, because
the attitude and values of college-going students influence society the most.
