Evaporative cooler is also called evaporator, uses the liquid refrigerant, which is easy to evaporate under low pressure and converted to vapor, at mean time absorbing the heat from the medium needed to be cooled, thus accomplish the purpose of cooling. Core tube is normally made from copper tube; expanded copper or expanded aluminum structure is normally applied for fins, which enhance the heat transfer performance of the evaporative cooling coil. Other materials are also available upon request. With specialization in customized design, we can meet the exact end-use requirements for the evaporator cooling coils.
Design and Performance Evaluation of an Indirect Evaporative Air Cooler IDES Editor
This paper presents design of small indirect evaporative air cooler which is developed as a cross flow heat exchanger and its performance evaluation under controlled environmental conditions. The experimental results are compared with the results of an analytical model developed by assuming constant water film temperature on the heat exchanger tubes. The experimental results of the cooler show a satisfactory agreement with the analytical values. The analytical results show that low inlet humidity and higher inlet temperature of the comfort air results in an increase in both cooling effect and cooling capacity. A very low velocity of comfort air gives more cooling effect but the cooling capacity
declines. For given inlet conditions and for given length of the tubes, a tube diameter of around 2 mm results in better cooling capacity.

Air Cooled condensers were first introduced in US
power industry in early 1970’s, but only during last 10-15
years number of installations greatly increased largely due to
growing attention being paid to environmental safety. Also,
growing demand for water for both domestic and industrial
use has brought an increased interest in use of Air Cooled
condensers. This is a review paper which studies the
performance of Air-cooled condenser under various operating
conditions it is found that there is degradation in performance
of air cooled condenser under high ambient temperatures and
windy conditions. The heat rejection rate of ACC also depends
on surface condition of fins and thus its performance is
reduced due to external fouling of finned tubes due to weather
conditions and by internal fouling from condensate (Ammonia
corrosion). A Hybrid (dry/wet) dephlegmator achieves major
enhancement in performance when ambient temperatures are
high. Also shading of condensers is done for air-conditioning
units to mitigate the adverse effect of high ambient
temperatures due to solar radiation. Now a day’s wind walls
are used to reduce the effect of high wind velocity .second
option is to increase the fan speed Fin cleaning plays an
important role in heat rejection. External cleaning improves
air side heat transfer coefficient. In order to improve the
performance of an ACC Flat tubes inclined at some angle to
horizontal can also be used in place of conventional circular
horizontal tubes so that an improvement in heat transfer rate
occurs.

In hot and humid countries like India, Air-conditioning systems of solid desiccant dehumidification based on direct
evaporative cooling can be an effective alternative to the existing vapor compression refrigeration air conditioning due
to its various advantages in, decreasing latent load of air, environmentally friendly, no pollutants in the process air,
decreeing power utilization and finally the equipment cost is much lower. This project first deeply explains about recent
researches and developments in solid desiccant dehumidification combined with direct evaporative cooling technologies.
A basic description of the principle operation for solid desiccants and different types of desiccant materials is given first.
Next, solid desiccant dehumidification system design and working process is included.
We proposed to reduce the energy consumption on the air conditioning system in AFGRE facilities (Al Futtaim Real Estate)
We selected the engineering room's office as the AES test site located in the site management offices of Dubai Festival City.
The test was conducted for two days and 8 hours each day.
The AC ran without AES as a normal situation during the first days. However, the AES was connected to AC in the following days to control and optimize the operations.
Also, we have collected some data like the room temperature (electronic thermometer), the temperature targeted (AC), and the room temperature shown on the remote control to keep the same environmental situation during the test.
An air conditioner acclimatizes every room in the site office.
We demonstrated the AES's performance, achieving an energy saving of 20%.

The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.

Evaporative type air cooler mainly consists of energy efficient motor to rotate fan and water pump. It also
consists of cooling pad. Size of cooling pad, fan, motor and cooler depends on quantity of cool air required
per hour from cooler. Water pump pumps water on cooling pad and make it wet and at same time fan
extracts air through pad and through on other side. Since air passes through wet cooling pad it gets cool. In

with control panel from which you can adjust fan speed, set timer, get alarm if water tank is empty etc.
Advantages of Evaporative cooling are that Evaporation is a highly efficient natural heat exchange process
because there is no third element in the exchanger. As the air is in direct contact with the refrigerant, in this
case water, the heat is transferred extremely efficiently. In compressor systems, the exchangers involve a
third element – the metal coil in the "evaporator", which interferes with the efficiency of the heat transfer.
With compressor systems there are two heat exchangers, the evaporator and the condenser, so there is a
double negative effect. The only power-consuming components of a direct evaporative cooler are the fan
and small water pump. The energy savings of EAC systems vary with humidity levels and temperatures,
however, typically in the Dubai; EAC systems will yield 50 to 70 percent energy savings compared to
conventional air conditioning.
Evaporative air conditioning uses between 25 and 70% less energy than air conditioning, brings in 100%
outside air and utilizes water for cooling instead of HCFC's. In addition maintenance is minimal requiring
just an annual pad clean, or change, compared to air-conditioning which requires a bi-annual filter change.
Last but not least, there are no HCFC pollutant emissions from evaporative air conditioning and water
consumption is moderate. That all adds up to very responsible environment and energy saving behavior.
Conventional air-conditioning impacts significantly on a building’s operating costs as it uses in excess of
25% of the building's energy consumption. It therefore makes sense to create a pleasant environment for
workers to maximize productivity whilst at the same time minimizing energy costs. Evaporative cooling
enhances the well being of individuals in areas where ambient temperatures are high, providing comfort
cooling in buildings such as schools, libraries and offices. It is also the best, and often the only solution for
commercial and industrial applications such as greenhouses, laundries, warehouses, factories and
