1. Tujuan Pembelajaran
Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat:
a. Mengungkapkan perkenalan diri sendiri secara berterima baik formal maupun
informal.
b. Mengungkapkan perkenalan orang lain secara berterima baik formal maupun
informal.
c. Memperkenalkan diri sendiri dan orang lain.
d. Membedakan penggunaan this and that.
e. Menjawab dan merespon pertanyaan berdasarkan suatu percakapan.
Karakter siswa yang diharapkan : Memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, percaya diri.

RENCANA PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN (RPP) Nama Sekolah : UPTD SMP NEGERI 17 CIREBON Mata Pelajaran : Bahasa Inggris Aspek/Skill : Speaking (Berbicara) Kelas/Semester : VII (Tujuh) /Gasal Alokasi Waktu : 2 X 40 menit Jenis Teks : Teks Transaksional/ Interpersonal Tema : Introducing yourself and other people Standar Kompetensi : 3. Memahami makna dalam percakapan transaksional dan interpersonal sangat sederhana untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat. Kompetensi Dasar : 3.1 Merespon makna dalam percakapan transaksional (to get things done) dan interpersonal (bersosialisasi) yang menggunakan ragam bahasa lisan sangat sederhana secara akurat, lancar, dan berterima untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan terdekat yang melibatkan tindak tutur: menyapa orang yang belum/ sudah di kenal, memperkenalkan diri sendiri/ orang lain, dan memerintah atau larangan. Indikator : Mengidentifikasikan makna dan fungsi ungkapan menyapa orang yang belum/ sudah di kenal dan memperkenalkan diri sendiri/ orang lain. 1. Tujuan Pembelajaran Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat: a. Mengungkapkan perkenalan diri sendiri secara berterima baik formal maupun informal. b. Mengungkapkan perkenalan orang lain secara berterima baik formal maupun informal. c. Memperkenalkan diri sendiri dan orang lain. d. Membedakan penggunaan this and that. e. Menjawab dan merespon pertanyaan berdasarkan suatu percakapan.

Where are you from ? Where do you come from? I am …… I am from …… I come from …… Introducing Others Here are the expression you can use for introducing others. The phrases near the top of the list are generally more formal than the ones near the bottom. Introducer I’d like to introduce… I’d like to introduce… I’d like you to meet… This is … and that is…. This is… Response A How do you do ? Glad to meet you. Nice to meet you. Pleased to meet you all Hi. Response B How do you do ? The pleasure is mine. Nice to meet you, too. Pleased to meet you, too. Hi. 3. Metode Pembelajaran / Teknik a. Presentation, Practice, Production. b. Complete Sentence 4. Langkah-langkah Kegiatan Uraian Kegiatan Kegiatan Awal  Guru mengawali proses pembelajaran dengan salam, berdoa, dan mengabsen.  Confirming readiness (mengkonfirmasi kesiapan siswa). Alokasi waktu 15 menit
  • 3. Apersepsi: Tanya jawab dengan siswa tentang nama, alamat dan hobby.(Activity 1) Motivasi: Menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi yang harus dikuasi siswa. Kegiatan inti 55 menit  Siswa memperhatikan guru ketika memberikan contoh cara 5 menit memperkenalkan diri sendiri dengan menggunakan gesture . (Activity 2)  Siswa duduk berkelompok dan setiap siswa secara bergiliran 10 menit memperkenalkan diri kepada kelompoknya.  Siswa memperhatikan guru ketika memberikan contoh cara 5 menit memperkenalkan orang lain ( guru dengan 2 siswa memperagakan ) (Activity 3)  Siswa menirukan kata / kalimat dalam dialog yang diucapkan oleh guru. 5 menit (Activity 4)  Siswa menjawab pertanyaan yang berkenaan dengan dialog 3 menit  Siswa memperhatikan penjelasan guru tentang perbedaaan penggunaan 5 menit this and that dengan menggunakan contoh dan tanya jawab. (what is this? And what is that?). (Activity 5)  Siswa dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok dan membuat sebuah dialog 10 menit (activity 6)  Siswa diminta untuk memperkenalkan anggota kelompoknya secara 12 menit bergantian. Kegiatan Penutup  Guru mengkonfirmasi pemahaman siswa.  Feed back (Menanyakkan kesulitan siswa selama KBM)  Guru bersama siswa menyimpulkan tentang materi yang telah diajarkan.  Guru memberikan tugas  Guru menutup kegiatan pembelajaran 10 menit
