The DM2E project aims to enable humanities research by integrating digitized manuscripts and archival material into the linked open web. It brings together various content providers and utilizes a data model that enhances the representation of cultural heritage objects through the Europeana Data Model (EDM). The project focuses on interoperability, contextualization, and developing a system for semantic enrichment and feature extraction from digital objects.
