The eCult Observatory provides resources for cultural heritage institutions to strategically implement technologies. It has compiled content from over 400 stakeholders over two years. The Observatory brings together technology providers and museums through events and coaching from ambassadors with relevant expertise. It aims to support the take-up of technologies through an online guide of success stories and best practices. The document outlines that a technology strategy is needed to define the purpose and human resources required to identify, select, implement, and maintain suitable technologies that align with an institution's mission and vision. It encourages involvement in the eCult community and resources.
