to combat the flex of such a simple design the decision was made to double the thickness. This design

Maple Leaf Foods (MLF), a result of many mergers and amalgamations, has been in Canada for over
100 years. Its operations focus on three core areas: meat products, agribusiness and bakery products.
The meat product group is the largest, with sales to about $2.5 billion in 2000. Each business is made
up of independent operating companies (IOCs), with each IOC run by a president and encouraged to
follow a common set of values. Efforts are underway to optimize vertical coordination of the IOCs. A

RESULTS OF SITUATION ANALYSIS
MLF is losing market share due to proliferation of unsuccessful brands such as _Beef Dogs_, _Lean n
Lite_ and _Burns_. Having too many brands has spread corporate resources thin and has underutilized
the Maple Leaf brand name leading to lack of a national identity of their hot dog segment,
productivity problems and rising costs, both operational and production.
THE ALTERNATIVES THEIR ANALYSIS
ALTERNATIVE 1: _Eliminate poor performing hot dog brands and re allocate the funds associated
with them to existing brands that are doing well in order to increase their sales._
The hot dogs that we are trying to improve sales for are: _Hygrade_, _Maple Leaf Originals_, _Top
Dogs_ and _Shopsy s_. This option involves reformulating _Top Dogs_ to make it taste better and
provide value for the consumers, without trying to make it a national brand. MLF will increase market
research in order to gain vital information to help properly position this brand in each of the different
regions. MLF can borrow money from other, more profitable IOCs

Gene Expression in Eukaryotes
Gene expression in eukaryotes can be broken down into three stages. These stages include
Transcription, RNA processing, and Translation. These steps are similar to gene expression in
prokaryotes but RNA processing is specific to gene expression in eukaryotes.
Transcription
Transcription happens in the cell nucleus. This is where DNA can be found. For example you can use
DNA as instructions to make certain things such as proteins, but, these instructions are in a different
language and you do not understand them, so the workers that will eventually assemble them cannot
work with them. This is where mRNA will come into play. The mRNA will provide the workers or
cells with new instructions that will be used to build the protiens. In transcription DNA is unzipped
and the enzyme RNA polymerase RNA polymerase binds to the promoter region. This starts the
unwinding of the DNA strands, and the polymerase starts RNA synthesis which runs along the
template strand of the DNA. In eukaryotic cells proteins called transcription factors bind to promoters
that include a TATA box, 25 nucleotides upstream from the start of transcription. After, more
transcription factors will bind to the DNA, together with RNA polymerase II, forming the
transcription initiation complex.
The second step of transcription is the process of elongation. This is where the polymerase moves
downstream while it unwinds the DNA and elongates the RNA from 5 to 3 . As the RNA synthesis

RESEARCH METHOD
As mentioned in the literature review, no studies have focused on socio cultural aspects of Therapeutic
relation ship in Indian outpatient physiotherapy department. Therefore, the intention of this study is to
seek an in depth understanding of socio cultural factors that associates with therapeutic relationship in
outpatient physiotherapy settings in India by using a focused ethnographic design. This study will be
conduct through two phases. The first phase of this study will be focused on participant observation
and on the basis of the findings from the first phase of the study, the second stage will be conducted by
using semi structured interviews.
Phase 1: Ethnographic: Study will be performed as an observation, which involves systematically
watching the physiotherapist or student therapist and patients to find out their interactions and
behaviours in outpatient physiotherapy in India.

To under stand the therapeutic relationship in an Indian outpatient physiotherapy settings.
To identify intangible underpinning socio cultural elements that associate with therapeutic relationship

Phase 2: Ethnographic semi structured interview

It is an expansion that stretches across history and time. Without any current form of stereotypes,
people could possibly challenge themselves more to the task at hand and create an improved
environment where people can truly question and explore more in the world. Exploring the mental

Atonement
Published in 2002 by Ian McEwan, Atonement presents readers with a story of love and war,
childhood and class, guilt and forgiveness (McEwan back cover). In this narrative, a ripple effect of
unfortunate events occurs after a thirteen year old girl named Briony falsely accuses someone of
raping her cousin Lola. Through the character s actions, the readers come to understand that one
cannot change the past, even if they seek atonement with the highest amount of effort. Ian McEwan
does an excellent job of presenting this theme by shifting through different perspectives, using
symbolism, and showing the metamorphosis of the characters, specifically in Briony. Over the course

The theme and truth is that there was an absence of atonement in Atonement (Pastoor 1) and the
recognition that one could attempt to achieve it, but might never actually get there. One cannot change
the past or justify one s actions in the process of obtaining atonement. However, one can try to do the
right thing and learn from one s mistakes, and even pass on those mistakes so that others do not
imitate them just like how Briony wrote about the consequences of her mistakes in her novels. She
was not selfish enough to give herself a happy ending by letting Cecilia and Robbie forgive her, but
she gave Cecilia and Robbie a happy ending. If Robbie and Cecilia are dead, as many readers presume
from Briony s statements, then let their deaths not be in vain through her stories, but if they are alive,
then it would be ideal for them to read her story and truly forgive her for this might be the closest and
only way to obtain some sort of
