FUNCTIONS
THE ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD WILL ADVICE TO
CENTRAL GOVT OR OTHERS ON THE FOLLOWING-
• Improvement of vehicle design to transports animals
• Improvement of providing facilities to animals like
• Construction of SHEDS
• WATER TROUGH
• VETERINARY ASSISTANCE etc
• Give financial and other assistance to ANIMAL
WELFARE ORGANISATION

16. ANIMAL WELFARE BORD OF INDIA –
FUNCTIONS
THE ANIMAL WELFARE BOARD WILL
ADVICE TO CENTRAL GOVT OR OTHERS
ON THE FOLLOWING-
• METHOD OF KILLING OF ANIMALS
• MAINTENANCE OF ANIMAL HOUSE

• Experiments performed on animals are exempted
subject to certain conditions
