Results for the questionnaire I gave my questionnaires to thirty people from the age of sixteen to twenty plus as this particular age group will be my main target audience. However, the analysis I have done in this presentation are only of the important questions which I will take on board to create my music video as I feel that without those information provided I would be unable to satisfy the needs of my target audiences.
Question 1 This chart shows that out of the thirty people I gave my questionnaires to only 12 of them are female and 18 of them are male. From this we can see that I lack equity as I handed more questionnaires to boys. By  knowing what gender the person is I will be able to know who filled out the questionnaire and therefore, create a music video that boys and girls can relate to.  What gender the person is important because our target audience is youth and below 30 and the music video will be aimed at both the boys an girls . Moreover, it helps me create the music video with information that boys and girls are interested in and to make sure that I am not aiming at one particular gender as well as helping me see what interests them.
Question 2  From this chart you can see that there are more people who are age of 20+  answered the questionnaire. I chose to ask this question because a variety of ideas are needed from different age groups to create our music video as different age groups will have different ideas and tastes so by putting a mixture of ideas from different kind of people would attract more viewers as well as meeting the needs of the certain age groups.
Question 4 From this graph you can see that the highest ethnic origin is other (19). By asking different ethnic origins  I m being fair  as I am getting people from different background involved by asking for their ideas.  However, there were no German. East Indian or Polish people  involved in my questionnaire.
Question 5  This chart implies that more people listen to R&B (13) than any other music genres. There is 0 people who listen to other type of music which suggest that  R&B,  classical, rap, rock are the most popular music genres in modern society.  Also, implying that these are the mainstream genres. This is an important question because I will be able to look into those type of music videos and look at what is about the video they like and use the ideas from those videos  for our music video we will be creating.
Question 6  This chart suggests that majority of people (24) watch MTV because it’s more entertaining than other music TV channels.  They have also included that MTC shows a variety of music genre s instead of specific ones.
Question 8 Equal number of people look for good performance and narrative (15) in a music video. This is an important question because in order for me to attract our target audiences we must meet the needs of the audience. Therefore, by creating a mixture of performance and narrative I will be able to grab more viewers’ attention.
Question 9 From this chart you can see that more people are not influenced by a good music video (21) to buy the track. This suggests that it does not matter to the audience how the music video is made as long as the song is good and meaningful.
Question 10 From this chart you can see that more people watch TV because TV adverts are more appealing to people therefore, promoting our music video through TV adverts is more convenient than any of the other promotions mentioned on the chart.

However, the analysis I have done in this presentation are only of the important questions which I will take on board to create my music video as I feel that without those information provided I would be unable to satisfy the needs of my target audiences.
  • 2. Question 1 This chart shows that out of the thirty people I gave my questionnaires to only 12 of them are female and 18 of them are male. From this we can see that I lack equity as I handed more questionnaires to boys. By knowing what gender the person is I will be able to know who filled out the questionnaire and therefore, create a music video that boys and girls can relate to. What gender the person is important because our target audience is youth and below 30 and the music video will be aimed at both the boys an girls . Moreover, it helps me create the music video with information that boys and girls are interested in and to make sure that I am not aiming at one particular gender as well as helping me see what interests them.
  • 3. Question 2 From this chart you can see that there are more people who are age of 20+ answered the questionnaire. I chose to ask this question because a variety of ideas are needed from different age groups to create our music video as different age groups will have different ideas and tastes so by putting a mixture of ideas from different kind of people would attract more viewers as well as meeting the needs of the certain age groups.
  • 4. Question 4 From this graph you can see that the highest ethnic origin is other (19). By asking different ethnic origins I m being fair as I am getting people from different background involved by asking for their ideas. However, there were no German. East Indian or Polish people involved in my questionnaire.
  • 5. Question 5 This chart implies that more people listen to R&B (13) than any other music genres. There is 0 people who listen to other type of music which suggest that R&B, classical, rap, rock are the most popular music genres in modern society. Also, implying that these are the mainstream genres. This is an important question because I will be able to look into those type of music videos and look at what is about the video they like and use the ideas from those videos for our music video we will be creating.
  • 6. Question 6 This chart suggests that majority of people (24) watch MTV because it’s more entertaining than other music TV channels. They have also included that MTC shows a variety of music genre s instead of specific ones.
  • 7. Question 8 Equal number of people look for good performance and narrative (15) in a music video. This is an important question because in order for me to attract our target audiences we must meet the needs of the audience. Therefore, by creating a mixture of performance and narrative I will be able to grab more viewers’ attention.
  • 8. Question 9 From this chart you can see that more people are not influenced by a good music video (21) to buy the track. This suggests that it does not matter to the audience how the music video is made as long as the song is good and meaningful.
  • 9. Question 10 From this chart you can see that more people watch TV because TV adverts are more appealing to people therefore, promoting our music video through TV adverts is more convenient than any of the other promotions mentioned on the chart.
