5. renovations were made. In 1930 the main reading room was redisposed and the number of seats
was increased from 400 to 700. In 1954 a small extension was build and in 1961 a larger one was
built. However the library does not sit well with other buildings on the site but its design made it
possible to quickly add public spaces, offices, stores etc.
