with extinction.
Estimates reach as high as 1, 40, 000 species per year.
25% of all mammal species could be extinct in 20 years.
The planet has lost 52% of its biodiversity since 1970.

7. THREATS & ISSUES:
Overhunting, excessive logging, poor soil conservation in agriculture
and the illegal wildlife trade.
About 25% of world fisheries are now overfished.

World population now is 7 billion and is forecast to reach 9 billion
during the 21st century.

19. THE ESSENCE:
Our approach should be sustainable, recyclable,
renewable, reusable and retrievable. We should think
about the coming generations and at the same time
be happy with what we have. Try to achieve the goal
of making this world a better place to live, because
we have got only one earth as a home.
Time is of essence, as we are already running late in
expanding the initiatives that will yield the desired
results towards saving Mother Earth.
