Octavio
31. Roberto, This is the hardest letter I have ever written. You two are so special to me. I wish you were staying. I know your lives are in Spain with your friends and family, but never ever forget you have a family in Las Vegas, Nevada too. I knew this year was going to be quite different. You actually took your time to explain procedures and rules to me for the classes. First time I didn’t have to figure them out on my own! You were clear And precise with directions which eased my transition into a new school. I like the fact that you referred to me as a teacher and treated me as an equal. You also supported me when I had to discipline or make a decision involving a student. One of the best surprises was when I found a birthday gift on my desk, proving this year will be different. I can’t believe this year is over. It flew by. I really enjoyed working with you. I don’t know when our working relationship became a friendship. Maybe it was when I saw you tickling the kids or horsing around with them. Perhaps all the times you helped me with all my electronic and computer needs. It could be the extra time you spent teaching the kids and myself to juggle. I think the kids were easier then I was. It might be our heart to heart conversations on two forbidden topics religion and politics. I loved it. It was very enlightening. Thanks to you now I can make a hangmen’s noose. Thank you for a great year. I will miss you! Your Friend Always, Shanett A.K.A Ms. L
