Adam and Haley were such a pleasure to have here. They were both positive, hardworking and thoughtful. After
being here for a few weeks, we asked each of them to nd a space that they wanted to improve upon/brighten
up/make more welcoming for the next people. Haley created a magical labyrinth in the forest and Adam created
a cozy volunteer space, with resources for future volunteers and a map of where all of our past volunteers came
from. Adam and Haley were fun, respectful and easy volunteers to have here and they are welcome back any

Haley & Adam- what can we say. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply- it's still quite busy!
I'm the same- can't believe that you are gone! All good things must come to an end! We were so happy to be
able to extend your stay and have you with us for 2 months, you were both a tremendous help to us all, both
inside and outside the house, during what turned out to be our busiest season in a long time. Great initiative and
such friendly dispositions. Willing to learn and to try new things. Such great conversations and plenty of laughs!

I have to be a person who says thank you rst, because you guys helped me so much with my class when we
was in Malaysia for a business course, i really regret that i couldn't come back in time to say goodbye you. 2 you
are the wonderful couple. My students until now still remember your lessons so much, the most funny and
happiest that we have had. You guys are so dynamic with the activities in class and so created when you help
me make a lesson plan. My mother said that you guys behaved so kindly, are so easy going and we love to host

Adam and Haley came to me looking for teaching hours, and they really proved themselves to be serious about
providing well-planned, punctual lessons for both my English school and also for my private classes.
The school was very impressed with their engaging and warm teaching style. They expressed a positive attitude
and were very flexible with all of the last-minute changes and requests that I needed their help with.
I'm so glad they stumbled upon my page!

We were honored that Adam and Haley made our home their rst stop on a year long work a way trip around
the world... the next is stop Vietnam! The excitement of their trip was contagious. They spent hours planning and
quizzing each other in Vietnamese.
They helped us with our massive paint prep job and still found a lot of time to explore the bay area. We also had
a chance for everyone to pile in the car and go up into the mountains for a quick over night trip.
Adam may be one of the most west coast people we have ever met. Even though he spent part of his childhood
growing up in France he is quite at home in an Oregon hippy commune. Haley is east cost all the way... with the
one exception that she always belonged in an Oregon hippy commune. Together they are a sweet couple. They
are eager to help and fun to be around.
We wish them all the luck in the world and they will always be welcome in our home.

Adam est malheureusement resté chez nous pour un séjour assez court mais nous avons pu apprécier ses
nombreuses qualités. Il est très gentil, agréable et ouvert. Il s'intéresse à beaucoup de choses, il est curieux de ce
qui l'entoure tout en étant discret. Il nous a beaucoup aidé et quand il était là nous faisions un mur en pierres et
il s'est montré très motivé pour ce travail qui est fatiguant. Il était également très présent pour aider dans la
cuisine et participer aux tâches collectives. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de son beau sourire, de sa
présence positive et de sa belle musique... Nous l'accueillerons toujours volontiers s'il le souhaite et pouvons le
recommander sans hésiter comme un très très bon workawayer. Merci Adam pour ton aide!!!
