4. INTRODUCTION
—Walton is the one and only manufacturer of multi-staged Refrigerator,
Freezer, Air Conditioner, Television and Motorcycle technology and is
treated as one of the sophisticated manufacturing plant in Bangladesh
and South Asia. The Walton Company Commitment is to manufacture
thoughtfully designed products of the highest quality ,under
environment responsible conditions. Walton now is rated as top 3
memory backend provider in the world. In 2007, they established
“Walton Advanced Engineering (Suzhou), Inc.” in China to provide
traditional memory assembly and testing service. As the end of 2015,
Walton has around 3000 employees in the world sites.

Newspaper
For promotional purposes Walton use the print Media. Three Major
Bengali Newspapers as – “The Ittefaq”, “The Prothom Alo” and “The
Bangladesh Protidin” are used for their advertising purpose. In English
version, they also used “The Daily Star”, “The New Age”, “The
Observer”, “The Daily Sun” etc for placing advertisements. Even they
used others newspapers also if required. If any new product or any new
model of product launch or any new offer gives to their customer then they
mention this to the newspaper.
Magazines
Sometimes they use magazine as to place their advertisements. Anondo
Alo, Binodon Sanonda, Computer Jagot are the mainstream magazines
where they put advertisements. Normally, Walton use only the front page
and the last page to place advertisement.
12. WALTON MOBILE

Currently Walton's positioning statement for all the product is
"Our Product“. They tried to establish a belief that everyone
can afford a Walton smart phone. WALTON MOBILE started
its journey in December 2010 and after completing those years
it is now flourishing and expanding in every possible market
segments along with product offerings.

15. EMI Facility

From April 2016, WALTON MOBILE introduced the EMI
facility in all their plazas as well as brand outlets to assist
people in purchasing their desired smart phones through
paying a small down payment and paying the rest amount of
the price in installments. They communicated this promotional
activity through all their channels such as:- press releases,
facebook page, website, posters near their outlets etc. This is
still continuing and proves to be a great success as it
contributed to a sale of total 5,189,458 Tk. till 15 January
2017.
17. X4 PRO PRE ORDER
X4 Pro Pre Order, is the latest promotional activity of WALTON
MOBILE. It has been communicated through every possible
channel and the offer is that every customer who would pre book
X4 Pro would get a gift package of t-shirt, power bank, wallet, and
a mug from WALTON MOBILE. It has created a tremendous buzz
and already attained a total of 95 pre book orders which comprises
2,754,050 Tk. of total sale.

MARKET ANALYSIS
Bangladesh, with its growing population and economic growth,
has huge demand for household products. The fact that only about
60% of the country has electricity available proves that when
electricity will be available throughout the country, demand will
increase further.
As the people of this country are mainly price sensitive, Walton,
being the sole manufacturer of refrigerator, freezer and
motorcycle, is very keen to meet the demand of this large market
by providing competitive prices.
26. CONCLUSION
The company has been running its business with good
reputation since 1977. In Bangladesh is a milestone in the
path of success and reputation of the brand WALTON. For
Bangladesh, Walton has become a company to be proud of in
the export arena. Walton has truly redefined Bangladesh
from being a consumer country to a producer country for
home appliances.
