5. What is Computer?
Computer is an electronic device that perform
arithmetic operation as well as logical operation correct
and accurately.
OR
A computer is an machine made of devices that
unable use to enter data (Input) process it and store
it (Memory) and (Output) the result.

6. Software & Hardware
Hardware
Computer hardware is the collection of physical parts of a
computer system. This includes the computer case, monitor,
keyboard, and mouse. It also includes all the parts inside the
computer case, such as the hard disk drive, motherboard, video
card, and many others. Computer hardware is what you can
physically touch.
For Example
Mouse, Keyboard, CPU, LCD OR Monitor

7. Software & Hardware
Software:-
Software is a set of instruction that perform
particular
task. And all program of computer that we can operate on
computer is called software.
Software use to control operate and instruction to computer
hardware.
There are two(2) types of software.
I. System Software
II. Application Software

System Software is type of software that we install into
the computer hardware. System software use for control &
operate the computer hardware. Every computer operate by
system software .
For Example
Windows, 06,07, 08, 10 ETC
There are (02) Types of System Software.
 Operating System
 Utility Software

Utility Software
Example of Operating System :-
Window’s XP, Windows 07, Windows 08,
Windows 10 etc.
Example of Utility Software:-
Antivirus , Data Backup or Data Recovery
Software
etc.

Application software is the type of software that we
install after the system software. Application Software use to
people for perform or complete personal task such as write Letter
Application etc.
For Example,
MS Office, Adobephoto shop, Coral draw, Games, ETC

11. What Input Or Output Devices?
 Input Devices
Input devices is an external part of
computer system. Which we can use to write, select
and send information into computer by different
ways and devices.
For Example:-
Keyboard, Mouse, Scanner, USB etc

 Output Devices
Output Devices use for shown the different
information or result of the computer when we work on
computer. There are many types of output devices.
Output devices also known as Internal information part
of computer.
For Example:-
Monitor, Printer, Speaker etc

A large amount of data that we can be stored on a
computer. The data entire into the computer is stored
into the Hard disk.
For Example:-
CD Rom, DVD Rom, Pen Drive etc
There are (02) types of storage devices
RAM(Random Access Memory Temprory Memory)
ROM( Read Only Memory Permanent Memory)

16. What Is Storage?
 RAM Or ROM
Read-only memory, or ROM, is a form of data
storage in computers and other electronic devices that
can not be easily altered or reprogrammed. RAM is
referred to as volatile memory and is lost when the
power is turned off whereas ROM in non-volatile and
the contents are retained even after the power is
switched off.

Performing calculation and comparing
data is called Processing. Processing is a
action that convert data into meaningful
information.

hardware work and processing.
Analog Computer
Digital Computer
Hybrid Computer

19. Analog Computer
An analog computer or analogue computer is a type of
computer that uses the continuously changeable aspects
of physical phenomena such as electrical, mechanical,
or hydraulic quantities.
For Example:-
Check voltages, Temperature,
Speed Meter, Weight Bridge etc

20. Digital Computer
A computer that perform calculation and logical
work or quantities by digit is called Digital computer.
Digital computer are useful for evaluating arithmetic
expression and manipulate of data. Mean shown fix and
accurate result of data.
For Example:-
Personal Computer, Calculator, Digital watch, Petrol
Pump Machine etc,

21. Hybrid Computer
The combination of both Analog & Digital
computer is called Hybrid computer.
OR
It is also exhibits the features of Analog & Digital
computer.
For Example:-
ICU Machine, Modern Petrol Pump Machine etc

A micro computer is the smallest general purpose
processing system . The older Pc’s start from 8bit Processor
with speed 4.66 GB.
Micro computer also called or known as personal computer
this computer use in Home, Offices & small Business. This
computer is single task and single user or general purpose
computer. It is also called Desktop Computer.
For Example:-
IBM PC, Pentium II, Pentium III, Pentium IV

24. Micro Computer
Micro computer can be classified into (02)
category or types.
I. Desktop ( Personal Computer)
II. Portable ( Laptop, Notepad, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant),
Wearable Computer(Like Blood Pressure Machine) )

25. Mini Computer
This type of computer is medium in size. Mini
computer is more powerful than a Micro computer. These
computer is usually designed to serve multiple user
simulteusly . They are more expensive than Micro computer
