CODE OF CONDUCT

shareholders. We must fulfil our customers’ requirements ensuring that all aspects of our service
satisfy them. Our integrity and openness is evident in all our business dealings and the behaviour of
our staff. We are proud of our customer focussed high service standards and the quality of our work
attributes.
Our team have the right to: Our team have a responsibility to:
 Be spoken to politely and with respect  Act in a professional manner in all dealings
with colleagues, managers, clients and
contractors.
 Be treated fairly and consistently  Consider others in the exercise of their
duties
 Be provided with training opportunities in
order to enable them to carry out their
duties effectively
 Attend nominated training and participate
positively, transferring the learned skills to
the workplace
 Have their point of view listened to and
considered
 Express their views without being aggressive
or overbearing
 Expect not to be harassed or intimidated at
work particularly in relation to their race,
colour, faith, religious belief, gender, ethnic
or national origin, disability marital status,
age or sexual orientation.
 Treat others with due respect ensuring their
behaviour complies with the Company
Harassment or Victimisation in the
Workplace Policy
 Speak out if they witness or are the victim of
intimidation, harassment or bullying
 Have their private life and commitments
outside work respected
 Not engage in any other trade, business or
profession which may represent a conflict of
interest with that of the Company.

 Be provided with the appropriate tools and
equipment to enable them to carry out
their duties effectively.
 To protect Company property and use it for
official purposes. Keep equipment safe and
to only dispose of it with relevant permission
 Where appropriate, be provided with
sufficient uniform and personal protection
equipment, to carry out their work
effectively
 Keep uniforms clean, presentable and in
good repair, wearing the correct articles
including footwear at all times.
 Wear ID badges at all times with high
visibility representing the Company
positively.
 Be informed of events and activities which
affect their working life
 Remain contactable during working hours,
ensuring mobile phones are fully charged
and that emails are responded to politely
and efficiently.
 Where appropriate be provided with a
company vehicle for official use.
 Keep company vehicles clean and tidy. Not
to use vehicle for private mileage unless
authorised to do so in writing by a Divisional
Director or HR.
 Be reimbursed for expenses reasonably
incurred in the performance of their duties
 Ensure that company funds are utilised
solely for the purpose of carrying out
legitimate business activities
 Supply VAT receipts to support expense
claims, submitting them for payment on a
monthly basis
 Be engaged in a safe and healthy
environment and to be trained in safe
working practices
 Not to endanger the safety of themselves or
others and to attend relevant training.
 Not to smoke in places not designated as
smoking areas. This includes all Company
premises, vehicles and client sites.
 Remain familiar with health and safety
guidelines and practice them in all aspects of
their work.
 Be advised of the required standards of
behaviour and performance and of relevant
procedures to follow in cases of grievance
or discipline.
 Abide by the company rules and procedures
as provided in the Employee Handbook,
Group Intranet, Pathway’s Code of
Professional Conduct and Pathway’s Core
Values.
 Be provided with products and services with
which to carry out their roles
 Adhere to Company policy in the use of
preferred suppliers and contractors.
 Not accept gifts, money or favours in return
for giving preferable status to any supplier of
goods or services.

Our team have the right to: Our team have a responsibility to:  Be spoken to politely and with respect  Act in a professional manner in all dealings with colleagues, managers, clients and contractors.  Be treated fairly and consistently  Consider others in the exercise of their duties  Be provided with training opportunities in order to enable them to carry out their duties effectively  Attend nominated training and participate positively, transferring the learned skills to the workplace  Have their point of view listened to and considered  Express their views without being aggressive or overbearing  Expect not to be harassed or intimidated at work particularly in relation to their race, colour, faith, religious belief, gender, ethnic or national origin, disability marital status, age or sexual orientation.  Treat others with due respect ensuring their behaviour complies with the Company Harassment or Victimisation in the Workplace Policy  Speak out if they witness or are the victim of intimidation, harassment or bullying  Have their private life and commitments outside work respected  Not engage in any other trade, business or profession which may represent a conflict of interest with that of the Company.

Keep equipment safe and to only dispose of it with relevant permission  Where appropriate, be provided with sufficient uniform and personal protection equipment, to carry out their work effectively  Keep uniforms clean, presentable and in good repair, wearing the correct articles including footwear at all times.  Wear ID badges at all times with high visibility representing the Company positively.  Be informed of events and activities which affect their working life  Remain contactable during working hours, ensuring mobile phones are fully charged and that emails are responded to politely and efficiently.  Where appropriate be provided with a company vehicle for official use.  Keep company vehicles clean and tidy. Not to use vehicle for private mileage unless authorised to do so in writing by a Divisional Director or HR.  Be reimbursed for expenses reasonably incurred in the performance of their duties  Ensure that company funds are utilised solely for the purpose of carrying out legitimate business activities  Supply VAT receipts to support expense claims, submitting them for payment on a monthly basis  Be engaged in a safe and healthy environment and to be trained in safe working practices  Not to endanger the safety of themselves or others and to attend relevant training.  Not to smoke in places not designated as smoking areas. This includes all Company premises, vehicles and client sites.  Remain familiar with health and safety guidelines and practice them in all aspects of their work.  Be advised of the required standards of behaviour and performance and of relevant procedures to follow in cases of grievance or discipline.  Abide by the company rules and procedures as provided in the Employee Handbook, Group Intranet, Pathway’s Code of Professional Conduct and Pathway’s Core Values.  Be provided with products and services with which to carry out their roles  Adhere to Company policy in the use of preferred suppliers and contractors.  Not accept gifts, money or favours in return for giving preferable status to any supplier of goods or services.
