Since they are the first hand proof of what exactly happened during an incident, whether it be using a device or witnessing a program failure or witnessing an issue in healthcare or application, these end users helps in documentation and if they miss out on reporting it, the concerned authority might miss a very important opportunity and can end up in more failures going forward. The Future of the Security When considering what awaits the security profession in the years to come and those that will operate within it, developments and forecasts related to security science will in large part be impacted by what has occurred in the past and in present day. What might occur, what is most plausible and feasible given current and expected occurrences, and what has proven to be effective (or not) will all need to be considered in determining those issues that will remain relevant or change. So predicting the future (not in the form of Nostradamus or similar prophets) as it relates to security is a technique that considers probable or desirable outcomes in the face of known or anticipated risks. So given this backdrop, where is security heading? Physical Security As long as there are structures that people operate within and house various assets, there will continue to be a need to offer needed protection related to them. All of the topics discussed in this course related to walls, fencing, sensors, alarm systems, guards, locks, and other such issues will be needed in some form or fashion. Whether through manual or technological means, these will remain a constant for the security administrator in providing appropriate defensive measures for the material, tangible assets they oversee. Concerning technology, the same trend will continue in serving as a needed aid in providing security moving forward. Mobile devices of various types, functions, capabilities, and their ability to access data, the ever-increasing use of robotics and the functions they can carry out, sensors that will be able to gain more intelligence regarding detection, and high frequency security cameras that will have the capability to verify the chemical compound of an object at a distance are just some of the many technical innovations on the horizon. Yet, just as technology has taken on a greater role in providing these efforts, so too does technology represent ever-increasing concerns to the security manager. The body of the paper is to be double-spaced. The body of the paper should be five paragraphs and a total of 500-to-800 words in length. The 500 minimum is firm; you really have not adequately developed the paper if less than that. The 800-word upper limit is really a guideline—ok to go over. Just don’t ramble. To determine length, I look at the BODY of the paper only (not title page or sources list) and consider primarily the word count. (Microsoft Word makes this easy. Just select from the first line of your first paragraph to the last line of your last paragraph. The word-count is provided on the lower left by MS-Word.). Sooner or later you’ll find your-self leading a team where one or more of your people work remotely. You can turn this situation into an advantage by leverag- ing diverse backgrounds and highly motivated employees. To do this, you’ll need to avoid the possible communication and effectiveness pitfalls and make sure you’re making use of all the means at your disposal to operate effectively from a distance. Interestingly enough, my experiences in P&G as both a remote manager and a remote employee have made me a more disciplined manager. Various situations, be it with remote teams who work from their homes or international employees in different time zones, bring unique characteristics to which you’ll need to adjust your management style. That said, the basics for any manager remain the same—you just have to do them better. Do them well, and you’ll have a highly energized and driven work team. The consequences of not doing so are twice as disas- trous with remote teams. What You Can Do Let me share some of my favorite must-do items for any remote leader. 1. Energize your team with a vision. To win as a team and as an organization, it’s critical to involve your remote group in the creation and deployment of a common vision. Ask yourself what your most important breakthrough will be, and set this as the direction that propels your people and your action plan. If it isn’t possible to do this face to face, take time to have a brainstorming forum, group chats, and calls with video where you come to a clear, meaningful statement of the accomplishment your team will be known for. 2. Engage them with a robust action plan. This is probably one of the most critical aspects of remote leadership. Each team member needs to feel engaged and have a clear understanding about what will be requested from them or their teams, how it will be mea- sured, and when you will expect it. To do this well is to set a solid foundation and clear the way for what will come. Draft an action plan with a clear link to your vision, and engage each team member individually with the objectives assigned to them. Align on the way updates will be presented and on key milestones. Give examples of the way you like updates to be presented and the data you expect to see in them. 3. Be in touch with your team. You need to be disciplined about having periodic touchpoints in order to stay connected. Watch out for overly independent employees who think they don’t need direction and allow the distance to grow. It’s important to align prior- ities, review action-plan progress, and talk about career development. It also doesn’t hurt to build a personal relationship that fosters trust and open communication. Though there are various con- straints, mostly financial, make sure to schedule face-to-face time as much as possible, and, again, make use of the vast array of available videoconferencing te.

Human Resources Frame Political Frame The owner of The Boston Globe, John Henry, is also the “Red Sox” owner. “In February 2013, the Red Sox owner John Henry assumed ownership, marking a new chapter (The Boston Globe).” This involves means that there is a lot of politics involved as John Henry has biases. Due to the new structure at The Boston Globe it changes a lot of activity that relates to the political frame. Soria 2 Victoria Soria Dean Winther English 101 04 February 2020 Poverty’s Impact on Education in America Most evidently in America children born or brought up in poverty are faced with insignificant education, versus a child with a higher income background. I have chosen this topic for my research assignment being that an impact of poverty can affect a child’s academic accomplishments significantly. This results in them facing challenges such as lacking intellectual and literary skills. The child readiness for school is reduced by poverty because it brings forth poor physical health and motor skills, dwindles the children's ability to concentrate and remember information, reduces curiosity, attentiveness and motivation. Children from lower-income families who manage to complete high school are less likely to proceed to college. Such children end up not achieving their life goals for lack of education. The effects of poverty on education for some children present unique challenges in breaking the cycle of generational poverty. It further reduces their chances of living productive and rewarding lives. Michel 3 Abstract The authors examined the predictive relationship between the performance of job duties informed by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and overall wellness of school counselors. We also examined the relationship between organizational factors (i.e., Recognized ASCA Model Program, supervision, and support), the frequency of job duties performed, and overall wellness. The results revealed a predictive relationship between some of the job duties school counselors perform and wellness. We provide implications for school counseling practice and training programs. The body of the paper is to be double-spaced. The body of the paper should be five paragraphs and a total of 500-to-800 words in length. The 500 minimum is firm; you really have not adequately developed the paper if less than that. The 800-word upper limit is really a guideline—ok to go over. Just don’t ramble. To determine length, I look at the BODY of the paper only (not title page or sources list) and consider primarily the word count. (Microsoft Word makes this easy. Just select from the first line of your first paragraph to the last line of your last paragraph. The word-count is provided on the lower left by MS-Word.). Starting small Central to the development of McDonald’s is Ray Kroc, who by 1954 and at the age of 52 had been variously a piano player, a paper cup salesman and a multi-mixer salesman. He was surprised by a big order for eight multi-mixers from a restaurant in San Bernardino, California. When he visited the customer he found a small but successful restaurant run by two brothers Dick and Mac McDonald. Program code examples (known also as worked examples) play a crucial role in learning how to program. Instructors use examples extensively to demonstrate the semantics of the programming language being taught and to highlight the fundamental coding patterns. Programming textbooks allocate considerable space to present and explain code examples. To make the process of studying code examples more interactive, CS education researchers developed a range of tools to engage students in the study of code examples. These tools include codecasts (codemotion,codecast,elicasts), interactive example explorers (WebEx, PCEX), and tutoring systems (DeepTutor). An important component in all types of worked examples is code explanations associated with specific code lines or code chunks of an example. The explanations connect examples with general programming knowledge explaining the role and function of code fragments or their behavior. In textbooks, these explanations are usually presented as comments in the code or as explanations on the margins. The example explorer tools allow students to examine these explanations interactively. Tutoring systems, which engage students in explaining the code, use these model explanations to check student responses and provide scaffolding. In all these cases, to make a worked example re-usable beyond its presentation in a lecture, the explanations have to be authored by instructors or domain experts i.e., produced and integrated into a specific system. As the experience of the last 10 years demonstrated, these explanations are hard to obtain. Those already collected are usually “locked” in a specific example-focused system and can’t be reused. The purpose of this working group is to support broader re-used of worked examples augmented with explanations. Our current plan is to develop а standard approach to represent explained examples. This approach will enable an example created for any of the existing systems to be explored in a standard format and imported into any other example-focused system. We plan to follow a successful experience of the PEML working group focused on re-using programming exercises.

The end users should always be encouraged to report any incidents or suspicious activities because these any unintended or surprising episodes can lead to various consequences and lead to harm. Incident reporting events are progressively being drawn into the domain of execution management,with occurrence information being utilized to hold associations to account for security execution. Rather of using episode announcing frameworks to account for failure, they can be all the more gainfully used to create regimes of common responsibility for development.Moreover reporting also decreases the chances of the same or similar incident happening again. Hence any activity that is related to any safety issues or otherwise should be reported, categorized and the aim should be to increase the rates at which these are reported. The safety culture of the organization is stronger if there are higher number of incidents reported however these can lead to a few complications.If the same type of incident is reported repeatedly, it suggests that there is no action taken previously on it and the quality of the action is very poor. This trend might discourage others to report in future thinking that they might also be asked to wait for their chance or ignored because they have seen that happening before.While reporting an incident it is important to not be biased and keep in mind the quality. Since they are the first hand proof of what exactly happened during an incident, whether it be using a device or witnessing a program failure or witnessing an issue in healthcare or application, these
