2. After looking at my research i think i would
like to produce a magazine with more of a
mainstream image. I would like to include a lot
of indie music, yet also a large range of other
genres as i believe that everybody likes a taste
of everything.
3. 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24
I am going to aim at a target audience of 17-
24 year olds. I think this is good range of
people and all have similar interests therefore
the language they use will be similar; making
it easier for me to relate to the age range. I
will use some “slang” terms but i do not want
to include too many as i think it will degrade
my magazine and create a low status for it.
4. Slag terms
Obviously different type of people use
different slang terms. As i am aiming at a large
range of people i need to keep the slang terms
to a minimum and use terms that everyone
will be used to and use.

5. relation
Ensuring that relate with my target audience is one of
the most important things. Readers should feel
engrossed in magazine, a connection must be formed.
Most young people are connected on social networks,
being 17 myself I know that Twitter and Facebook are
the two main social networking sites that young people
regularly go on. I want to include these social networks
repeatedly within my magazine to relate to my target
audience and to also advertise my magazine on a
global level.
