1. What have you learnt about
technologies from the process
of constructing this product?

2. Photoshop
The main thing I have learnt to use well from the process of
constructing my music magazine is Photoshop as before I had never
used it before, I have learnt how to cut out backgrounds of images
precisely using the lasso tool that you can see on the left, and also
how to brighten and change the hue and saturation of images.
However as I have never used Photoshop before I think this has
impacted on my work as the layouts and images are quite simple,
and with more time to practise using this software I think my
images and magazine would look a lot more professional.

3. Facebook
I also used Facebook to create a focus group
and insert images of my magazine on so that
my friends could comment on my work, I
have learnt how to create a focus group and
post things in the group.

4. Blogger
.
Another website I have never used before is blogger,
this was used to upload all of my coursework and my
final pieces and also my evaluation with the use of
presentations and voice clips.

5. Slideshare
Another software I had to use alongside blogger was
slideshare this was used to upload a word document
onto blogger; I didn’t find slideshare a challenging
software and found it was easy to upload word
documents onto blogger by using it.

6. Nikon Camera And Iphone
Camera
I used a Nikon camera to take some images in college, I used
different aspects of the camera such as the zoom and taking
images with the flash on and off, also I took images at different
angles so they looked more interesting. I also used my iPhone
camera to take images at home of my sister, I preferred using my
iPhone as I was familiar with it and could take better images at
home of a model instead of in college.

7. Prezi
I used Prezi software so that the
presentations aren’t boring; I think I had
success using this new software as the
presentations weren’t as boring as the usual
PowerPoint presentations.

8. Soundcloud
Another software I used was sound cloud, I
already had an account which I listened to
music on however I have now learnt how to
record my own sound and upload it.

9. All of these different software’s have been done
using the internet, my iPhone, a Nikon camera or
software already on the computer, because of
technological convergence it has been made easier
to create my magazine. technological convergence
has made it easier for me to distribute and publish
my work from the same computer and on my
iPhone at home therefore saving time and money to
produce a professional looking music magazine.
