2. Biography
• David Meyer was born in a middle class family along the east end of
London. His first memory was hearing classical music being played in
his crib. He truly got interested in the medium when he used it as a
study aid. He was self-taught and achieved a scholarship to brick
school a school for the performing arts. After earning a perfect pitch
with several instruments he went from strength to strength, he got
the taste for composing after being forced to improvise after the
conductor did not show up. He composed several ground breaking
compositions using a distinct style, and is about to release a ground
breaking new album.

3. Genre
• My artist performs classical
music with a modern twist.
For his compositions he
uses and array of musical
instrument as well as a 22
piece orchestra, he prefers
to conduct the orchestra
himself. This makes him the
youngest modern classical
music conductor alive to
date.

4. Style
• My artist would be
represented as a young
talented virtuoso. This
means he will have the
appearance of a confidence
with a slight eccentric
personality. He will be
dressed in a black shirt and
formal trousers, this along
with sneakers with just
appose his modern image
with the classical roots.

5. Cultural significance
• David Meyer is leading a cultural revolution. He is shifting the
perception of classical music away from an elitist upper class form of
education and is bringing it to the masses. This radical shift will
appeal to those that have an interest in the classical music scene. My
artist has been influenced by the image of sleek young talent of other
artist from more mainstream genres such the image of the artist
labyrinth and Ed Sheeran. He has adapted these different styles but
his image is unique, this makes him visually relevant but still
possesses a timeless feature.

6. Values and ideologies
• What makes my artist stand out in the classical music scene is his
distinct background. Being born into a middle class family, and thus
feeling like he cannot express his passion for classical music. This set
in on his life’s mission, which is to make classical music cool again.
This passion has motivated my artist to achieve the greatness. He
values classical music as the highest form of music, but still is
experimenting with the genre attempting to create something
unique. This modern thinking is at the core of his value and
ideologies.
