2. Location One – Jim O'Neil's Walk
We have chosen this location for the
easy access to the river. It also has a lot
of trees and bushes which would be
effective for establishing shots. The
trees exposed tree trunks are good for
the bloody hand prints, the large fields
around the river
gives us a lot of different
options If we feel the shots
aren’t going well.
3. Location One – Jim O'Neil's Walk
The river has a bridge
that the first
establishing shot can
be taken from. The
view from the bridge
can be made to look
mysterious when in
the correct lighting.
The river is also a good depth for the floating
objects but it’s not too deep or fast flowing so it
will be safe to film there.
4. Location One – Jim O'Neil's Walk
There is a good area by the bridge that allows for
easy access to the river. This makes it easier and
safer to film. It leads so a flat part of the river
bank that our actor can lay on.
5. Location One – Jim O'Neil's Walk
The one down side to this
location is that it’s in a
residential area with
houses visible on one
side. This would ruin the
eerie, mysterious effect
of the situation.
6. Location Two – Woodville Gardens
The area around
the river is a walk
way with a lot of
trees and bushes.
This would allow
us to get good
establishing shots and other shots of the
scenery. We could also use the grass for the
finger marks in the mud.
7. Location Two – Woodville Gardens
The river doesn’t have any access points so it will just be used
for the scenery shots. It is similar depth and flow to the other
river which is important so they look the same.
8. Location Two – Woodville Gardens
There is two places in
the rivers surroundings
which could be used for
the final shot where the
police tape is put up.
This is good because if
one doesn’t look good
we can use the other.
