Narrative Speech About Bullying
Steve White is a 15 year old boy that is in 10th grade and lives with his parents in Los Angeles. He
gets bullied all the time because of his size. He rides the bus to the School every day and he sits
with his friend his name is Donald Smith. They have been friends for many years going back into
Elementary School. One day he is on the bus and he hears someone talking about doing
something to the School that he goes to. When he was watching them they saw him and got
suspicious. When he was in school for that day he was freaking out and so scared if anything was
going to happen. He did not want to do anything because he does not want to get hurt. When he
got home his parents were saying he was not the same and Steve thought everything was fine, but
his parents did not believe him. He could not sleep that night. When he woke up in the morning
he realized he had to do something about it, so he texted Donald and he wants to help. The next
morning he got on the bus and sat with Donald and the two guys that were there the day before
were not on the bus. When he got to the school he was walking to his class he got pulled into a
janitor's closet. The people that pulled him were the guys. Steve was so scared he was shaking.
They asked Steve. "Why are you so scared" "Well you to guys just pulled me into a janitor's closet
and I heard you to guys talking about doing something to the school." "First of all we were talking
about someone else doing something and we just wanted to help."

Trying to live a positive and healthy life is possible but very well challenging. As days go by and
different occasions come up where I have to choose which is right and which is wrong is hard to
sort out knowing it's wrong but what I really want to do it just have fun. Teenagers in this century
including myself experience peer pressure to do things that we know isn't right. It is all about
priorities and not being misled down the wrong path. It is also all about acceptance which is
what you allow to happen; in this time and day I had to learn to have a strong sense of self. I
forgot to mention but my name is Michaela Blackmon born in Muskogee Oklahoma. I've been
pressured so much before that I was going to do somethings that I would regret. I had to come
back to my senses and just realize my worth. There is so many bullies out here in this world today
which is the reason kids are committing suicide. I was one of those kids getting bullied one point
of time. In order to stop it, it took me to just stand up for myself and stop just being that kid that
was just into my school work and worrying about getting in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I still
care about my school work and getting in trouble but I won't let anyone just run me over. I've
always been a shy person that didn't talk. I'm glad I grew out of that because now I'm pretty much
outspoken and will stand for what I know is right. When people laugh at me because my last name
is Blackmon I just shake it off instead of

Cyber bullying Speech
Many people in the world don't seem to comprehend how much of a big problem bullying is.
Bullying is so common now a days, that when is occurs, no one seems to notice it or worse, no
one seems to care. Usually when is occurs, parents say "There kids, they'll get over it" or "It will
make them stronger for when they grow up" but in reality, it tears us apart into little pieces that take
a long time to mend back together.
Why should people have to give in to bullies? Why do we have to let them harass and hurts us in
both ways: physically and emotianally? Is it because we're different? Or is it because we're not
normal. You see the funny thing is, no body knows what normal is or nobody can even define what
normal is.
Contemporary studies show, there are approximetly 4,959,870 elementary and highschools in canada
and 55% have experienced being bullied. 57% are successful in stopping bullying within the time of
10 seconds. Bullying can occur at anytime and anyone can be a target.
However, the harrasment doesn't stop even when you step foot at home. Cyberbullying is becoming
common on so many social networks; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Myspace ect. What some people
don't realize; people interact with people virtually more than they interact with people face to face.
Cyber bullying can take in many forms
Sending mean messages or threats to a person 's email account or cell phone

Narrative Speech About Bullying
My sophomore year of high School I can't really believe that I actually just fought them in front
of everyone in the hallway. Just imagine a fancy, nice, rich girl fighting some other rich girls. I
yelled " THAT'S IT HAILEY,EMMA,MONIL!" That got everyone's attention everyone in the
smelly , loud hallway with everyone walking around getting their things for their next class. I
have long flowy blonde hair. I was looking out at the light blue ocean sparkling like my eyes in
the hallway. Then i heard my brother yelling " Please Don't hit me Hailey''! Then i am bility
turned around and ran straight for the crowed. When i heard my brother yelling " please don't hit
me hailie !" i turned around to see Hailey. Emma , moneli standing in front of him with there arms
crossed. Everyone was stopped and yelling "FIGHT" repeatedly. I can't Believe i was friends with
those girls. Then what happened after that is a whole different story. Then the Next thing i know i
am i am in the principal's office with my parents and the other girls parents . About the whole fight
and my attitude problem . I was standing and staring outside my class thinking about how hailey,
emma, moneli were just constantly telling me to bully this kid's about how they are not rich like
me. It was just one kid after another. They were also bullying while they told me to bully them even
if it hurt my feelings to do it to my friends.I finally break away from them when i go to my sixth

Speech About Cyber Bullying
Bullying is not only limited to the real world, but also the online, virtual world, in a form known as
'Cyber Bullying'."Cyber bullying" is when a child or teen is threatened, harassed, humiliated
orembarrassed by another person using the Internet, mainly social medias, or mobile phones The
application of the internet to the modern world has made it easy for people to harass others without
even having to be face–to–face, and with the increase in technology, there is no doubt that
cyber–bullying will increase. Because of this, I believe it's important to educate people about
cyber bullying because it will help stop it from happening. Doing that would encourage the
victims to speak up for themselves and get help, and have the bullies think twice about their
attempt to bully someone. It is very easy to harass someone via a social network because 93% of
young people from the age 12 to 17 were online by 2008(Lenhart, Purcell, Smith and Zickuhr, 2010).
Ask.fm, one of the major cyber bully–concentrated social networks, was linked to over nine teen
suicides since it first started. The Ask.fm founder, Mark Terebin blamed the mass media for the
suicides, and the website's own users: "Mass media is knocking on the wrong door. It is necessary
to go deeper to find a root of a problem. It's not about the site; the problem is about education, about
moral values that were devaluated lately. Ask.fm is just a tool which helps people to communicate
with each other, same as any other social

Speech On Stop Bullying
Stop Bullying
Good afternoon my beloved friends and teachers
Have you ever been bullied? Has it happened to your peers or have you just seen or heard about it
on TV? Many people have different opinions on what bullying is. Some say it is kicking or hitting
someone, others say it's when you say mean things or call someone names.
All of these things are correct, as they are different ways you can be bullied. However, they are not
the official definition of bullying. Everyone has a different opinion, but the definition I follow is:
Anything that a person does on purpose to upset or hurt another person –(the victim).
The victim is the person that gets bullied.
To be honest, bullying is just like a disease because you don't make it happen...show more content...
Myth number 4: "Bullying is a school problem, the teachers should handle it." Fact is: Bullying is a
broader social problem that happens everywhere.
Myth number 5: "People are born bullies." Fact is: Bullying is a learned behavior and behaviors can
be changed.
Okay, you are probably wondering what the different types of bullying are? Statistics show that there
are six different types of bullying: Physical, Verbal, Indirect, social Alienation., intimidation and last
but not least Cyber Bullying.
Verbal Bullying is the most common because it is not as easily noticed as physical is. Talk about
how horrible this is! Think if you were the target or the person that got bullied!
Bullies bully because it makes them feel better than everyone else! Also they do it because they
have been bullied at some point in life and feel like they need revenge.
A bully can be a person that is big or someone small, it just depends on what type of bullying we are
talking about.
Sometimes teenagers and older students bring guns to school to kill bully but end up injuring many

There are many ways to grab a reader's attention. You could craft a nifty anecdote or propose a
mind twisting question. Capture a beautiful image through words assembled with perfect
precision. Or, if you don't have the mind for that, then tell your biggest flaw and call it good.
Since everyone is already bored out of their minds, I'll just tell you the imperfection I am most
ashamed of. I run away from my problems. I am always the victim. I dissolve in the presence of
my fears. Basically, in a nutshell, I am a coward. You know those brave heroes that charge afire
breathing dragon with no hesitation? Nope, I'm already out of there. I salvage the temporary relief
that escaping gives me. Then I realize I can't run. The only way to solve a problem is to face it
head on. But then I notice how much easier it is to push it away from my mind. If I get bullied by a
few kids at school, I want to move schools. I know I should face the bullies and permanently solve
the problem. If I failed a test, I bury myself in a book to forget about it. I know I should study
more and get a better score on the next one. But do I act like the better person? Nope, I see the
easiest way out, and I go. The only place where I am tough is when I play sports. I can physically
push myself farther than my mind can stretch. I never take the easy way out of practice. Maybe
that's why I exceed in athletics. I always take the easy way out in day to day situations. Maybe
that's why I struggle in life.
This year, I read many books. To Kill a Mockingbird was a book I never expected to enjoy. In my
mind, it was that classic, required high school read that had a good message in theory, but could
only be described as boring. Boring and forgettable. I didn't realize how much it scored the truth
on my issues. When I read that last word, the main message I got was not about racism or
innocence. Of course, that was what I was going to write about in my analytical essay, but the
largest piece I took away from that book was from one of the smallest details. It was about Boo
Radley, a character that was primarily made of the children's imagination. When I heard about his
house that he hid in for many years, I instantly compared it to myself. Okay, so I

Persuasive Speech On Cyber Bullying
Have you ever bullied someone before or are you a victim of being bullied? Well, bullying is
described as an immoral and aggressive behaviour where it has an impact on one person to another.
This is caused by people assuming they are dominant, superior in age or position. The bully also
brings that unnatural anger on someone and tries to victimised them so that they can feel good about
themselves. Bullying can occur in a range of places from schools to public places, even at home.
Now these days technology is also a problem because of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is
becoming an infamous territory to battle their victims as it is often used to humiliate them on
social media. As a result, we can say that schools' bullies have become a huge problem these days.
The concept of a bully is that some students who lack in specific qualities in the eyes of the bully
is a target for them in order for them to become popular. To be honest, bullying is a bad sign which
results in lowering victim's emotions and this may lead to mental illnesses such as depression and
suicidal attempts. Actually, bullying to be present in school should not be tolerated in every
possible way because it is violating a person's human rights. This speech talks about the causes and
the consequences of bullying as well the opinions to persuade you to be against bullying in schools
and in general.
Bullying has the obscured need of an individual to feel like they have the power as compared to
others in a social setting. When the bully carries an ego at school, the victim of the bullying may
suffer both physical and emotional abuse. Bullying can also extend to sexual and verbal abuse. In
some schools, a majority of the popular students tend to pick on the less popular students for the
sake of fun and attention from other school mates. The main structural causes of bullying are
mostly psychosomatic problems. In most of the times, a bully can also get rid of their own
problems by passing it on to others person. In rare cases of young people, teenagers often release
their anger out because of their violent backgrounds or negative influences that they come across as
they grew up in life. As an outcome, they end up exhibiting these feelings through

Have you ever been bullied? I know I was a victim of bullying back when I was in elementary
school, they would pick on me throughout the day, every day, then they would wait for me after
school to beat me up, but I always managed to get away. I told my parents what was happening and
they waited for me after school to confront the bullies, and they did confront them. After that they
left me alone. Did you know that 1 out of 4 teens are bullied? According to Stomp Out Bullying
website, 9 out of 10 LGBT students experienced harassment at school and online, 8% students stay
home on any given day because they're afraid of being bullied, 1 out of 5 kids admits to being a

For adults, problems in a marriage from disloyalty to general estrangement may lead them to
exaggerate their own authority to the point of bullying. Kids who push others around are often
driven by the need for power. They enjoy being able to subdue others. These types of kids are
typically impulsive and hot headed and they thrive when their victims cower in their presence.
Sometimes someone else is bullying the bully, which causes the bully to bully. A person may feel
bullied by their parents, their boss, or an older sibling. Getting bullied by any of these people who
are in an assumed position of authority may tempt some to claim authority for themselves through
bullying. When bullying slips through the net and isn't sorted out we allow another generation of
bullies to be created. According to Nobullying.com, research shows that those who have
experienced bullying are twice as likely to go on to bully others. Cyber bullying is often a
by–product of someone being bullied in his or her offline life. Some people who are perceived as
weak, or perceive themselves that way, use the Internet to try and reinvent themselves as someone
more powerful or intimidating, they may join open chats or forums and threaten other participants.
Often cyber bullying can be an extension of real world bullying too, for example, hacking into a
social media account in order to display negative rumors about another person.

A Persuasive Speech On Bullying
How would you feel if someone hurt your feelings, your body, everything that you are? What if
you could make it stop? Well, I had a friend in 8th grade and she was being bullied. In her
childhood she was in a fire that made her face a little different from the others. She went through
five surgeries to get her face fixed, but still, the scar was there. Even though she tried to hide her
scar with makeup everyone knew what happened to her, and her house. She was special because
she won an art contest against a girl who had won it since sixth grade. That girl was mad at her
because she said that my friend took her place. It wasn't true, it was obvious that my friend won the
contest fairly. So, when the accident happened she took the opportunity to get her revenge. My
friend felt inferior from the other girls, and she couldn't accept what happened to her and hr life.
She couldn't say what that girls did to her because they threatened her saying that if she told anyone
what that they would make her life worse than it already was. She ended telling me what was like to
being bullied. She said that she stopped fearing them because they were just kids that wanted
attention. At the end, you can see that they only want some attention from the rest. This issue is
important because too many kids are suffering from bullying, and it needs to be stopped. We can
help to prevent it from happening. The sources I used are from SIRS research articles.
Bullying is a serious issue because it has an impact on the teens that have to deal with it. One of the
latest studies of bullying and cyberbullying in the middle and high school students presented by
researchers at Florida Atlantic University and the University of Wisconsin–Eau (UW–EC) used a
sample of 5,600 children between the ages of 12 to 17 years old to address various forms of
bullying, sexting, as well as thoughts of suicide and deviant behavior. The results of the study were
that 73 percent of students reported that they had been bullied at school at some point in their
lifetime; 44 percent said that it had happened in the last 30 days. Among those who were bullied
recently, 88 percent said they were called mean names or were made fun of in a hurtful way; 77

Essay on A Speech on Bullying
Good Morning/Afternoon fellow class mates, the issue that I have come to share and talk about with
you today is Bullying. It is all around us, everyone bullies, no matter what you think or have done,
you've most likely bullied someone.
There are many issues in the news that involve bullying and bad things that happen, aswell as people
being affected from people bullying them.
Bullying is happening everywhere and the chances that you will encounter it are high. Around the
world bullying is big particularly within schools and online in cyber space.
With all schools talking about bullying and the media regularly reporting on latest research, it could
seem like we're in a bullying epidemic. But, it's not all bad – the incidence of...show more content...
Children who were frequently bullied by their peers were more likely to develop psychotic
symptoms in their early adolescence, says more UK research.
Girls were much more likely than boys to be victims of both cyber and traditional bullying, says a
recent Murdoch Children's Research Institute study.
Young people who bully have a one in four chance of having a criminal record by the age of 30.
Bullying is the fourth most common reason young people seek help from children's help services
Our culture emphasizes a mentality that encourages dominance and aggression. Extreme bullying,
often using sexual slurs such as "gay, fag, slut and whore," is becoming a common experience for
students of all ages, and in particular, for children aged 11–13.
Bullying will stop when individuals protect themselves; when schools create a community of respect.
We now have a society that rewards humiliating and demeaning others. Reality television shows have
judges who use bullying techniques as they assess the contestants. This kind of entertainment
harkens back to ancient times when the public gathered in coliseums to see spectacles, such as
gladiators; who killed their foes.
Why do we like to watch others get hurt, either physically or psychologically?
There are many reasons but the simplest explanation is that most people identify with the winner,
and they feel better about themselves; as if they had won.

A Persuasive Speech: Bullying At School
Growing up many kids and teenagers don't expect to get bullied. Many are bullied for being
different than others. There all comes a point where we ask why me why is it bullying me. Many
times the bullies do it for attention and making themselves look more, more. Believing in the end
of this is what keeps us going and fighting in our daily lives and trying to prove the ones who
bullied us wrong. For many it becomes too serious and prefer to put an end to the misery and the
torment of the things that happen in their lives. Imagine a place where none of this happens,
standing up for yourself can take you to this place.
I was little walking with my mom to my first day of school excited and nervous at the same time
not ready to leave my mom's side, no one was it's safer right next to her. Finally time came to say

Thousands of kids are bullied each and everyday of their lives, but why? There is no reason for
anyone, including a child to ever treat another person so badly.
Bullying is a wake up call for attention, since 1 in every 3 children are affected. Over the past 3
decades, the suicide rate has gone up by 25% because of bullying. Although, many kids are affected
by bullying and do not speak up causing unstable relationships with close ones or even their life,
bullying is a problem, and people should take it more seriously because it harms the victim and close
ones.
Some people do not take bullying seriously; however, self–harm is used to some to let out frustration
or anger, but 12 out of 15 teens retaliate extreme violence by mass shootings.
Saba Nazir once stated that "when bullying is taken seriously by the school and parents, the victim

paying attention to other things going on or have poor lack of focus". This shows that, kids are
absent minded when they do not feel the best or seem happy therefore they cannot concentrate. This
is important because, disruptive behavior and sleep often happens because of being a victim of
bullying. In addition to what Nazir said, "children who stay home miss out on gaining an education,
causing them to fall behind in classes". This shows that, when children stay home, their missing out
on their schoolwork and assignments causing more stress and anxiety on top of them having to face
kids there. This is important because, they miss out, fall behind and fear going back to school. Some
parents think and feel that kids who complain about headaches and stomach pain should not be

All the scars. All the tears. All the thought. We can't see it, it's hidden under the cheerful smile and
the beautiful eyes full of sadness. Everything is hidden. The cuts, the bruises, the sadness. Hidden by
a simple smile. But of course you didn't notice it; that's someone's dying inside. That's someone about
to take their own life because what you've done to them. Because of what you didn't notice. Because
the act that you didn't think would affect them.
I want you all to close your eyes and imagine: a girl sits surrounded by people. She smiles. She

sadness and depression. She's been bullied and abused but no one know. She's too afraid to tell
anyone. She cried herself to sleep. She thinks that she's worthless because no one cares. She lets
her life slowly slip away. How many people have to live like her? Put on fake smile and try to be
happy, when under the damaged skin, they're dying. Screaming for help but no one can hear her. By
the time I read the end of this speech, a person will have committed suicide because all those people

Bullying has been in the media spotlight for years now. Most people have been affected by
bullying at some point in their lives. Some have been targeted while others have witnessed it. No
matter who you are, bullying has probably had a negative impact on you. I was once bullied by
someone I had considered a close friend. In the early months of 2013, I met a girl (let's call her
Tiffany) and we quickly became friends. I thought she was a very nice and intelligent girl at first,
but as time progressed, Tiffany began to change for the worst. Whenever I said something she
didn't agree with, she would either shove me down or she would make fun of me and try to make
me seem stupid. I would ask her to stop, but I never told anyone what was going on. Her father
had told everyone that Tiffany had Asperger's Syndrome (which later turned out to be incorrect)
and I felt sympathetic for Tiffany. Whenever she was rude to me I would feel angry at first, and
then remind myself that she didn't truly understand that what she was doing was wrong. One day
Tiffany and I were going to play soccer with some other kids. Tiffany told me to keep score
instead of playing because she didn't want me to "make her team lose." I responded with something
she didn't like, although I don't remember what it was. Next thing I knew, Tiffany knocked me onto
the ground and pinned me. My arm began to bleed, but I still didn't say anything other than "Tiffany

Today I am going to be verbalizing about a vigorous of how I preserved my friends life, to this
day he is still alive because of me. This was not your average case of just a simple kid getting
bullied, after aurally perceiving this it will definitely change how you handle and visually
perceive bullies. I still recollect what he told me, " You will go through so much afore decide that

dumbfounded and very disoriented, especially being the incipient kid and not having any friends. At

sudden one afternoon at lunch on the twenty–fourth day from school starting, extreme auditory
perceiver pinching screams bolted out from this boy, around the same age as me, but I never had

So... bullying... it's a rather rough topic, but I mean, I've gotta start somewhere right? Everyday
hundreds of kids are bullied... then thousands, then they add up to hundred thousands, and those one
hundreds thousands add up to millions and those millions add up to billions... Approximately 3.2
million kids and teens are bullied every year. Each one of those kids go through suffering. And
eventually they might say that they've had enough. They don't know what to do... so they turn to
what they think is the only option to escape it. Suicide...
In a bully's eyes words don't hurt they're "just a joke" but when you really think about it, it's not
meant to be a joke. Verbal bullying. It's meant to hurt you and make you think that you are meant to
be here and eventually you aren't... Approximately 4,400 kids or teens commit suicide each year,
and 14 percent of every high school have thought about doing a suicidal act. Seven percent attempt it.
While often words can leave bruises on your heart, action can leave them on the outside too.
Physical Bullying. Multiple kids each day go home at the end of the day with new bruises and
marks. Their parents ask why... they say they fell... hundreds of kids and teens purposely don't tell
them what happened because they don't want them to get involved and don't know how to have a
voice.

Bullying in school"
A school is a place of education where children's teams and forms themselves into someone they
wanted to be in the future. But that is not the only luxury that school can give, they can also be a
battlefield, a place of survival some may seem, where the famous and beautiful are honored and
respected while the poor little once are bullied. Bullying is a big problem now in our society and
what's alarming is the breeding ground of this plague is our school. But before we get into the
problem let us first define what a bullying is, According to the new Webster's dictionary of the

Persuasive Speech To Stop Bullying
Topic: Bullying in Schools
Specific Purpose: To persuade people to stop the bullying and help the people that are dealing with it.
Central Idea: Bullying has been around for years, but it's time to make a difference and get rid of it.
Introduction
Attention Getter: How would you feel if someone was trying to put you down for your
appearance or your culture or your for just being you? How would you feel if there was no one to
turn to because you feel like everyone would just make fun of you? How would you like it if you
were stuck in bed just wanting to stay home because everyone is just not nice to you? This is what
someone goes through when it comes to bullying. This also leads to other things that shouldn't be the
only way out. There is always someone out there for you. You just have to...show more content...
(Transition: So why does bullying need to stop?)
Body
Everyone has either been bullied or have been the bully, but the ones who are the bully don't see
what they're really doing until it's too late.
For the past decade, the bullying rate has been sitting at 28%, but finally dropped to 22% just a few
years ago. (U.S Department of Education, 2015)
It obviously shows that something is being done about the bullying. But do you really think it's
ever going to stop completely? Do you think if we really try to stop the bullying, will it actually
make a difference in society? I hope so because if nothing changes in the next decade, there's no
hope of anything ever being done.
I'm sure there's someone here that has either been bullied or has been the bully. Do you ever look
back at what you did or what was said to you? I sure do. B. As the bully, you don't see what you're
doing to the person because you're dealing with things yourself.
The real reason behind getting bullied is the bully himself is going through his own stuff and takes
his anger out on

Speech On Addressing Bullying And Bullying Essay
Addressing Bullying Miamifield is your typical suburban school district. Located in southwestern
Ohio, the school has boasted good academic reports in the past few years. The success of an
academically elite has carried this rating as the school has seen a decline in the average student's
educational success. In Miamifield, violence especially in the form of bullying of members of the
LGBTQ community has been a rising issue within the school district. This paper discusses this issue
of bully in the LGBTQ community as well as bullying in general. Steps to make a safer place for all
students, including the LGBTQ, that supports students' interests. As it stands now, the current
method of bullying–related discipline may not be as effective as needed. In today's society, there
has been an increase in individuals who identify as LGBTQ. As said in the Miamifield case study,
in recent years, organizations such as the Citizens for a Healthy Family (CHF) at Miamifield had
petitioned to remove certain learning materials from curriculum, specifically texts that had gay and
/or lesbian content. In Miamifield, there has been an increase of students who feel like they are
being bullied because they identify as LGBTQ. While the LGBTQ community has seen a general
increase in social status and civil standing, in the classroom there is still a lot of room for
improvement. With the advancement of technology and growth of social media, bullying not only
takes place within schools, but now all

  • 1. Narrative Speech About Bullying Steve White is a 15 year old boy that is in 10th grade and lives with his parents in Los Angeles. He gets bullied all the time because of his size. He rides the bus to the School every day and he sits with his friend his name is Donald Smith. They have been friends for many years going back into Elementary School. One day he is on the bus and he hears someone talking about doing something to the School that he goes to. When he was watching them they saw him and got suspicious. When he was in school for that day he was freaking out and so scared if anything was going to happen. He did not want to do anything because he does not want to get hurt. When he got home his parents were saying he was not the same and Steve thought everything was fine, but his parents did not believe him. He could not sleep that night. When he woke up in the morning he realized he had to do something about it, so he texted Donald and he wants to help. The next morning he got on the bus and sat with Donald and the two guys that were there the day before were not on the bus. When he got to the school he was walking to his class he got pulled into a janitor's closet. The people that pulled him were the guys. Steve was so scared he was shaking. They asked Steve. "Why are you so scared" "Well you to guys just pulled me into a janitor's closet and I heard you to guys talking about doing something to the school." "First of all we were talking about someone else doing something and we just wanted to help." Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Persuasive Speech About Bullying Trying to live a positive and healthy life is possible but very well challenging. As days go by and different occasions come up where I have to choose which is right and which is wrong is hard to sort out knowing it's wrong but what I really want to do it just have fun. Teenagers in this century including myself experience peer pressure to do things that we know isn't right. It is all about priorities and not being misled down the wrong path. It is also all about acceptance which is what you allow to happen; in this time and day I had to learn to have a strong sense of self. I forgot to mention but my name is Michaela Blackmon born in Muskogee Oklahoma. I've been pressured so much before that I was going to do somethings that I would regret. I had to come back to my senses and just realize my worth. There is so many bullies out here in this world today which is the reason kids are committing suicide. I was one of those kids getting bullied one point of time. In order to stop it, it took me to just stand up for myself and stop just being that kid that was just into my school work and worrying about getting in trouble. Don't get me wrong, I still care about my school work and getting in trouble but I won't let anyone just run me over. I've always been a shy person that didn't talk. I'm glad I grew out of that because now I'm pretty much outspoken and will stand for what I know is right. When people laugh at me because my last name is Blackmon I just shake it off instead of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Cyber Bullying Speech : Bullying Cyber bullying Speech Many people in the world don't seem to comprehend how much of a big problem bullying is. Bullying is so common now a days, that when is occurs, no one seems to notice it or worse, no one seems to care. Usually when is occurs, parents say "There kids, they'll get over it" or "It will make them stronger for when they grow up" but in reality, it tears us apart into little pieces that take a long time to mend back together. Why should people have to give in to bullies? Why do we have to let them harass and hurts us in both ways: physically and emotianally? Is it because we're different? Or is it because we're not normal. You see the funny thing is, no body knows what normal is or nobody can even define what normal is. Contemporary studies show, there are approximetly 4,959,870 elementary and highschools in canada and 55% have experienced being bullied. 57% are successful in stopping bullying within the time of 10 seconds. Bullying can occur at anytime and anyone can be a target. However, the harrasment doesn't stop even when you step foot at home. Cyberbullying is becoming common on so many social networks; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Myspace ect. Just imagine a fancy, nice, rich girl fighting some other rich girls. I yelled " THAT'S IT HAILEY,EMMA,MONIL!" That got everyone's attention everyone in the smelly , loud hallway with everyone walking around getting their things for their next class. I have long flowy blonde hair. I was looking out at the light blue ocean sparkling like my eyes in the hallway. Then i heard my brother yelling " Please Don't hit me Hailey''! Then i am bility turned around and ran straight for the crowed. When i heard my brother yelling " please don't hit me hailie !" i turned around to see Hailey. Emma , moneli standing in front of him with there arms crossed. Everyone was stopped and yelling "FIGHT" repeatedly. I can't Believe i was friends with those girls. Then what happened after that is a whole different story. Then the Next thing i know i am i am in the principal's office with my parents and the other girls parents . About the whole fight and my attitude problem . I was standing and staring outside my class thinking about how hailey, emma, moneli were just constantly telling me to bully this kid's about how they are not rich like me. • 5. Speech About Cyber Bullying Bullying is not only limited to the real world, but also the online, virtual world, in a form known as 'Cyber Bullying'."Cyber bullying" is when a child or teen is threatened, harassed, humiliated orembarrassed by another person using the Internet, mainly social medias, or mobile phones The application of the internet to the modern world has made it easy for people to harass others without even having to be face–to–face, and with the increase in technology, there is no doubt that cyber–bullying will increase. Because of this, I believe it's important to educate people about cyber bullying because it will help stop it from happening. Doing that would encourage the victims to speak up for themselves and get help, and have the bullies think twice about their attempt to bully someone. It is very easy to harass someone via a social network because 93% of young people from the age 12 to 17 were online by 2008(Lenhart, Purcell, Smith and Zickuhr, 2010). Ask.fm, one of the major cyber bully–concentrated social networks, was linked to over nine teen suicides since it first started. The Ask.fm founder, Mark Terebin blamed the mass media for the suicides, and the website's own users: "Mass media is knocking on the wrong door. It is necessary to go deeper to find a root of a problem. It's not about the site; the problem is about education, about moral values that were devaluated lately. Ask.fm is just a tool which helps people to communicate with each other, same as any other social Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Speech On Stop Bullying Stop Bullying Good afternoon my beloved friends and teachers Have you ever been bullied? Has it happened to your peers or have you just seen or heard about it on TV? Many people have different opinions on what bullying is. Some say it is kicking or hitting someone, others say it's when you say mean things or call someone names. All of these things are correct, as they are different ways you can be bullied. However, they are not the official definition of bullying. Everyone has a different opinion, but the definition I follow is: Anything that a person does on purpose to upset or hurt another person –(the victim). The victim is the person that gets bullied. To be honest, bullying is just like a disease because you don't make it happen...show more content... Myth number 4: "Bullying is a school problem, the teachers should handle it." Fact is: Bullying is a broader social problem that happens everywhere. Myth number 5: "People are born bullies." Fact is: Bullying is a learned behavior and behaviors can be changed. Okay, you are probably wondering what the different types of bullying are? Statistics show that there are six different types of bullying: Physical, Verbal, Indirect, social Alienation., intimidation and last but not least Cyber Bullying. Verbal Bullying is the most common because it is not as easily noticed as physical is. Talk about how horrible this is! Think if you were the target or the person that got bullied! Bullies bully because it makes them feel better than everyone else! Also they do it because they have been bullied at some point in life and feel like they need revenge. A bully can be a person that is big or someone small, it just depends on what type of bullying we are talking about. Sometimes teenagers and older students bring guns to school to kill bully but end up injuring many others

  • 8. Persuasive Speech About Bullying There are many ways to grab a reader's attention. You could craft a nifty anecdote or propose a mind twisting question. Capture a beautiful image through words assembled with perfect precision. Or, if you don't have the mind for that, then tell your biggest flaw and call it good. Since everyone is already bored out of their minds, I'll just tell you the imperfection I am most ashamed of. I run away from my problems. I am always the victim. I dissolve in the presence of my fears. Basically, in a nutshell, I am a coward. You know those brave heroes that charge afire breathing dragon with no hesitation? Nope, I'm already out of there. I salvage the temporary relief that escaping gives me. Then I realize I can't run. The only way to solve a problem is to face it head on. But then I notice how much easier it is to push it away from my mind. If I get bullied by a few kids at school, I want to move schools. I know I should face the bullies and permanently solve the problem. If I failed a test, I bury myself in a book to forget about it. I know I should study more and get a better score on the next one. But do I act like the better person? Nope, I see the easiest way out, and I go. The only place where I am tough is when I play sports. I can physically push myself farther than my mind can stretch. I never take the easy way out of practice. Maybe that's why I exceed in athletics. I always take the easy way out in day to day situations. Maybe that's why I struggle in life. This year, I read many books. To Kill a Mockingbird was a book I never expected to enjoy. In my mind, it was that classic, required high school read that had a good message in theory, but could only be described as boring. Boring and forgettable. I didn't realize how much it scored the truth on my issues. When I read that last word, the main message I got was not about racism or innocence. Of course, that was what I was going to write about in my analytical essay, but the largest piece I took away from that book was from one of the smallest details. It was about Boo Radley, a character that was primarily made of the children's imagination. When I heard about his house that he hid in for many years, I instantly compared it to myself. Okay, so I Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Persuasive Speech On Cyber Bullying Have you ever bullied someone before or are you a victim of being bullied? Well, bullying is described as an immoral and aggressive behaviour where it has an impact on one person to another. This is caused by people assuming they are dominant, superior in age or position. The bully also brings that unnatural anger on someone and tries to victimised them so that they can feel good about themselves. Bullying can occur in a range of places from schools to public places, even at home. Now these days technology is also a problem because of cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is becoming an infamous territory to battle their victims as it is often used to humiliate them on social media. As a result, we can say that schools' bullies have become a huge problem these days. The concept of a bully is that some students who lack in specific qualities in the eyes of the bully is a target for them in order for them to become popular. To be honest, bullying is a bad sign which results in lowering victim's emotions and this may lead to mental illnesses such as depression and suicidal attempts. Actually, bullying to be present in school should not be tolerated in every possible way because it is violating a person's human rights. This speech talks about the causes and the consequences of bullying as well the opinions to persuade you to be against bullying in schools and in general. Bullying has the obscured need of an individual to feel like they have the power as compared to others in a social setting. When the bully carries an ego at school, the victim of the bullying may suffer both physical and emotional abuse. Bullying can also extend to sexual and verbal abuse. In some schools, a majority of the popular students tend to pick on the less popular students for the sake of fun and attention from other school mates. The main structural causes of bullying are mostly psychosomatic problems. In most of the times, a bully can also get rid of their own problems by passing it on to others person. In rare cases of young people, teenagers often release their anger out because of their violent backgrounds or negative influences that they come across as they grew up in life. As an outcome, they end up exhibiting these feelings through Get more content on HelpWriting.net

I know I was a victim of bullying back when I was in elementary school, they would pick on me throughout the day, every day, then they would wait for me after school to beat me up, but I always managed to get away. I told my parents what was happening and they waited for me after school to confront the bullies, and they did confront them. After that they left me alone. Did you know that 1 out of 4 teens are bullied? According to Stomp Out Bullying website, 9 out of 10 LGBT students experienced harassment at school and online, 8% students stay home on any given day because they're afraid of being bullied, 1 out of 5 kids admits to being a bully, or doing some "Bullying," 43% fear harassment in the bathroom at...show more content... For adults, problems in a marriage from disloyalty to general estrangement may lead them to exaggerate their own authority to the point of bullying. Kids who push others around are often driven by the need for power. They enjoy being able to subdue others. These types of kids are typically impulsive and hot headed and they thrive when their victims cower in their presence. Sometimes someone else is bullying the bully, which causes the bully to bully. A person may feel bullied by their parents, their boss, or an older sibling. Getting bullied by any of these people who are in an assumed position of authority may tempt some to claim authority for themselves through bullying. When bullying slips through the net and isn't sorted out we allow another generation of bullies to be created. According to Nobullying.com, research shows that those who have experienced bullying are twice as likely to go on to bully others. Cyber bullying is often a by–product of someone being bullied in his or her offline life. Some people who are perceived as weak, or perceive themselves that way, use the Internet to try and reinvent themselves as someone more powerful or intimidating, they may join open chats or forums and threaten other participants. Often cyber bullying can be an extension of real world bullying too, for example, hacking into a social media account in order to display negative rumors about another person. • 11. A Persuasive Speech On Bullying How would you feel if someone hurt your feelings, your body, everything that you are? What if you could make it stop? Well, I had a friend in 8th grade and she was being bullied. In her childhood she was in a fire that made her face a little different from the others. She went through five surgeries to get her face fixed, but still, the scar was there. Even though she tried to hide her scar with makeup everyone knew what happened to her, and her house. She was special because she won an art contest against a girl who had won it since sixth grade. That girl was mad at her because she said that my friend took her place. It wasn't true, it was obvious that my friend won the contest fairly. So, when the accident happened she took the opportunity to get her revenge. My friend felt inferior from the other girls, and she couldn't accept what happened to her and hr life. She couldn't say what that girls did to her because they threatened her saying that if she told anyone what that they would make her life worse than it already was. She ended telling me what was like to being bullied. She said that she stopped fearing them because they were just kids that wanted attention. At the end, you can see that they only want some attention from the rest. This issue is important because too many kids are suffering from bullying, and it needs to be stopped. We can help to prevent it from happening. The sources I used are from SIRS research articles. Bullying is a serious issue because it has an impact on the teens that have to deal with it. One of the latest studies of bullying and cyberbullying in the middle and high school students presented by researchers at Florida Atlantic University and the University of Wisconsin–Eau (UW–EC) used a sample of 5,600 children between the ages of 12 to 17 years old to address various forms of bullying, sexting, as well as thoughts of suicide and deviant behavior. The results of the study were that 73 percent of students reported that they had been bullied at school at some point in their lifetime; 44 percent said that it had happened in the last 30 days. Among those who were bullied recently, 88 percent said they were called mean names or were made fun of in a hurtful way; 77 percent said Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. Essay on A Speech on Bullying Good Morning/Afternoon fellow class mates, the issue that I have come to share and talk about with you today is Bullying. It is all around us, everyone bullies, no matter what you think or have done, you've most likely bullied someone. There are many issues in the news that involve bullying and bad things that happen, aswell as people being affected from people bullying them. Bullying is happening everywhere and the chances that you will encounter it are high. Around the world bullying is big particularly within schools and online in cyber space. But, it's not all bad – the incidence of...show more content... Children who were frequently bullied by their peers were more likely to develop psychotic symptoms in their early adolescence, says more UK research. Girls were much more likely than boys to be victims of both cyber and traditional bullying, says a recent Murdoch Children's Research Institute study. Young people who bully have a one in four chance of having a criminal record by the age of 30. Bullying is the fourth most common reason young people seek help from children's help services Our culture emphasizes a mentality that encourages dominance and aggression. Extreme bullying, often using sexual slurs such as "gay, fag, slut and whore," is becoming a common experience for students of all ages, and in particular, for children aged 11–13. Bullying will stop when individuals protect themselves; when schools create a community of respect. We now have a society that rewards humiliating and demeaning others. Reality television shows have judges who use bullying techniques as they assess the contestants. This kind of entertainment harkens back to ancient times when the public gathered in coliseums to see spectacles, such as gladiators; who killed their foes. Why do we like to watch others get hurt, either physically or psychologically? There are many reasons but the simplest explanation is that most people identify with the winner, and they feel better about themselves; as if they had won. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. A Persuasive Speech: Bullying At School Growing up many kids and teenagers don't expect to get bullied. Many are bullied for being different than others. There all comes a point where we ask why me why is it bullying me. Many times the bullies do it for attention and making themselves look more, more. Believing in the end of this is what keeps us going and fighting in our daily lives and trying to prove the ones who bullied us wrong. For many it becomes too serious and prefer to put an end to the misery and the torment of the things that happen in their lives. Imagine a place where none of this happens, standing up for yourself can take you to this place. • 15. Informative Speech About Bullying All the scars. All the tears. All the thought. We can't see it, it's hidden under the cheerful smile and the beautiful eyes full of sadness. Everything is hidden. The cuts, the bruises, the sadness. Hidden by a simple smile. But of course you didn't notice it; that's someone's dying inside. That's someone about to take their own life because what you've done to them. Because of what you didn't notice. Because the act that you didn't think would affect them. I want you all to close your eyes and imagine: a girl sits surrounded by people. She smiles. She laughs. She acts totally normal. But inside she's dying. Her heart and thought clouded with sadness and depression. She's been bullied and abused but no one know. She's too afraid to tell anyone. She cried herself to sleep. She thinks that she's worthless because no one cares. She lets her life slowly slip away. How many people have to live like her? Put on fake smile and try to be happy, when under the damaged skin, they're dying. Screaming for help but no one can hear her. By the time I read the end of this speech, a person will have committed suicide because all those people who are reaching for help have fallen too deep. Because when they're crying you don't hear it. • 16. Speech About Bullying Bullying has been in the media spotlight for years now. Most people have been affected by bullying at some point in their lives. Some have been targeted while others have witnessed it. No matter who you are, bullying has probably had a negative impact on you. I was once bullied by someone I had considered a close friend. In the early months of 2013, I met a girl (let's call her Tiffany) and we quickly became friends. I thought she was a very nice and intelligent girl at first, but as time progressed, Tiffany began to change for the worst. Whenever I said something she didn't agree with, she would either shove me down or she would make fun of me and try to make me seem stupid. I would ask her to stop, but I never told anyone what was going on. Her father had told everyone that Tiffany had Asperger's Syndrome (which later turned out to be incorrect) and I felt sympathetic for Tiffany. Whenever she was rude to me I would feel angry at first, and then remind myself that she didn't truly understand that what she was doing was wrong. One day Tiffany and I were going to play soccer with some other kids. Tiffany told me to keep score instead of playing because she didn't want me to "make her team lose." I responded with something she didn't like, although I don't remember what it was. Next thing I knew, Tiffany knocked me onto the ground and pinned me. My arm began to bleed, but I still didn't say anything other than "Tiffany please get off of me." I began walking Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Do you think if we really try to stop the bullying, will it actually make a difference in society? I hope so because if nothing changes in the next decade, there's no hope of anything ever being done. I'm sure there's someone here that has either been bullied or has been the bully. Located in southwestern Ohio, the school has boasted good academic reports in the past few years. The success of an academically elite has carried this rating as the school has seen a decline in the average student's educational success. In Miamifield, violence especially in the form of bullying of members of the LGBTQ community has been a rising issue within the school district. This paper discusses this issue of bully in the LGBTQ community as well as bullying in general. Steps to make a safer place for all students, including the LGBTQ, that supports students' interests. As it stands now, the current method of bullying–related discipline may not be as effective as needed. In today's society, there has been an increase in individuals who identify as LGBTQ. As said in the Miamifield case study, in recent years, organizations such as the Citizens for a Healthy Family (CHF) at Miamifield had petitioned to remove certain learning materials from curriculum, specifically texts that had gay and /or lesbian content. In Miamifield, there has been an increase of students who feel like they are being bullied because they identify as LGBTQ. While the LGBTQ community has seen a general increase in social status and civil standing, in the classroom there is still a lot of room for improvement.
