2. Genre
• The genre of my regional magazine will be a
fashion/beauty magazine. I will take inspiration
when creating my magazine from already existing
fashion and beauty magazines.
4. Photos and Taking the
Photos
For my images within my magazine I will ask some friend to be
models and take photos of them in the photography studio with a
Dslr camera so that all my images are of a good quality. I will make
sure the clothing and makeup of my models match the theme of my
magazine to make my magazine look professional. I may also take
some image outside of the studio, of fashion accessories which I can
use as smaller secondary image for my magazine.
5. Target Audience
• I think that my primary target audience will be from
teenager girls to young women, (16-25), as this is the
age when females are getting into fashion and
make up and start to care about how they look
and keeping up with the new and upcoming
fashion and beauty trends. My secondary target
audience would be women aged 26+ who still care
about fashion and beauty despite their age.
6. Colour scheme
• As my target audience is mainly teenage girls and
young women I have chose to keep my colour
scheme very bright and girly so that my magazine is
eye catching and appealing to my target
audience. My colour scheme will include some
colours including, pink, orange, blue black and
white.
7. Written content
• Within my magazine and website I intend to include such things
as, new and upcoming fashion trends, fashion and beauty tips,
and competitions to win beauty/fashion products or gift cards. I
will include all of these as I think this is what my target would be
interested in reading about, after researching into already existing
fashion magazines and websites such as Elle. I will also included
celebrity fashion styles and how to get them as this will make my
fashion/beauty website and magazine my popular as teenager
and young women nowadays (my target audience), always look
up to celebrities for new and upcoming fashion styles.
