2. Title/MastHead: The title of the magazine is always
center aligned and is on the top although in this case
the title is being slightly obscured But still due to the
font the audience of this magazine will still recognize
it. The size of the font remains the same in every
issue of the magazine
Tagline: The Nat Geo magazine focuses on the
tagline profoundly. In other magazine taglines are
related to other stories. Sometimes there are
multiple taglines for multiple stories but Nat Geo
has one Tagline which mainly focuses on the main
featured story.
Featured Story: Rising Seas is the featured story in
this issue of the magazine and the featured story
always reflects the main central image of the
magazine.
The National Geographic Magazine, is the official magazine of the National
Geographic society. It primarily contains articles about geography, history, and world
culture. The magazine is known for its thick square-bound glossy format with a yellow
rectangular border and its extensive use of dramatic photographs.
Central Image: The central image of this
magazine always reflects the featured story
that what the featured story is about in this
case, The central image is the statue of
liberty and how the sea level is rising. To tell
the reader the importance of the story The
statue of liberty Is half in sea. So this tells
the reader the importance of the featured
story
Border line: Nat Geo Magazine specifically
focuses on the borderline of its magazine,
The border line of the magazine is always
thick yellow line. This helps the reader of
the magazine instantly realize that this is a
National geographic magazine.
Other Featured Stories: The other featured stories of the magazine are not always
aligned in the same pattern. Sometimes they are left aligned, Sometimes they are right
aligned. So the alignment of the magazine keeps varying
The Color Scheme: The color scheme of the
magazine keeps changing . The color scheme of the
magazine is mainly decided by the main featured
story which in this case is the rising sea. Now as the
color of the sea is blue that is why the main color
of the magazine is blue

3. The central image of the magazine is very important as there is only one central image on which the magazine focuses. As the focus is on the statue of Liberty and
how its half in the sea this to tell reader the importance of the story that how one day sea level will eventually rise and could cover up half of the statue of Liberty.
The camera shot which is taken of the statue of liberty is a long shot in order to show the viewer that how much the statue of Liberty is in the water. The most
important feature of the magazine which Nat Geo considers the most important is yellow border line. Which gives the Magazine its identity. There are other
magazine addressing the issues which National Geographic Magazine addresses but what makes the the magazine its identity or the way it stands out is the Yellow
thick borderline, The Nat Geo magazine has no barcodes or price tags on the front of its cover. The codes and convention of the front cover is kept in the most
simple way. The Target audience of the magazine likes the cover simple.

4. The Content page of the NatGeo magazine is panned out in a very simple manner. The editors believe that the more natural and realistic look of the magazine can
only be achievable if there is less editing on the pictures and keeping the font simple. Not too much use of color but then again this only seen in the magazines which
have the same genre or relatable genre of the Nat Geo Magazine. Now analyzing this content page. The shot that is taken is a close up shot. Now the audience of
this magazine might take this picture of negro child in a racial abuse sort of a context as it could be clearly seen that child has watery eyes and is on the verge of
crying but then it could also be taken in this context too that Nat Geo might be addressing the issues related and atrocities the black people or children have to face.
Now the contents are either left aligned or right aligned. In the center of the magazine there is a half close up shot. Talking about the colors used on the content page
are black and red. Red to donate the main heading, Number of articles etc and the color black is used for the article headings. The Date of the magazine comes below
the heading National Geographic. The content page also contains the name of the magazines' website on the right bottom corner. The content pages has all the
codes and convections of a content page.

5. The double spread page of Nat Geo is then again panned out in a very simple manner. The double spread page always contains a story unlike sports magazines which
usually have just one single shot on the whole two pages. The double page spread of the Nat Geo magazine is usually covered half in picture and half the featured
story. In this case its talking about. Cayman wall and how it gives an amazing scuba diving experience. The font that is being used a serif font and is used every where
in the magazine. To give the magazine a look of realism simple fonts are used . The shot that is taken is a long shot.
