 Vernier caliper is used for making very accurate linear measurement.
 It utilizes two graduated scales main scale & Auxiliary Scale or vernier scale.
 Least count – 0.001cm or 0.1 mm

8. Micrometer Caliper
 A Device which is measure very small distances, thickness, diameter etc.
 Distance covered by the screw in one revolution .5mm or 1 mm max.
 Least count – 0.01 mm
