Case Study (Group Wise)
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. A group should consist of 4 – 7 students
2. After completion of the Case Study, you are required to submit a joint report indicating the
contribution of each student.
3. Indicate all members’ names and their student registration numbers in the cover page of the Report
4. Only one group member (or group Leader) has to upload Report to OpenLearn platform
5. Divide the workload equally among members. For example, up to No. 3 could be handled by all
members, and after that, you could give each member some tasks to equally distribute the
workload. But please remember that it is necessary for all the members to all functions for the final
examination. Please include the below table with responsibilities at the end of your Report for
grading purposes.
6. Upload your completed Case Study (only PDF Format-Max File size 5MB) to Openlearn LMS

1 Form an organization related to the Energy Sector and give a brief
introduction to the organization.

2 Perform job analysis and identify suitable HR for the organization.
Better to present as an organizational structure

3 Write job descriptions for the identified HR in your organization. You
could divide this work among all the members, and each member
should have at least one job description written. Give the contribution
by each member clearly in your Report. You are free to select an
effective format to present the job descriptions. Find indicators for the
rest of the steps from the job descriptions.

4 Construct a common Radar Map with suitable indicators identified in 3
above to select HR positions for the organization. Indicate the different
expectations of each HR position on this map.

5 Create a suitable model to identify the training needs of your
employees linking to the indicators in 3 above.

6 Create an effective appraisal system for the organization. Appraisal
System should be an effective system where both the superior and the
subordinate find it easy to judge a person’s abilities. Link it to the
indicators of performance you selected in 3 above.

7 Design a reward system for your organization – Link to the
performance indicators in 3 above.

8 Plan OHS procedure for your organization. This need only a plan to say
how you are going to manage OHS in the organization.

9 Identify strategic philanthropic, business environment-related and
business processes related CSR practices for your organization.
