The artistic policy of the festival To offer the residents and visitors of Brentford, Ealing and Hounslow the opportunity to participate in a high quality entertaining and informative community event. To provide an opportunity for children and adults to sample a variety of sports and activities. To provide an opportunity for local and national charity groups to fund raise and offer advice to the general public.
3. Entertainment is provided by musicians, dancers, dog show, traditional children’s fair, inflatable slides, land train, urban farm and other activities, such as, climbing wall and quad bikes. There is usually a variety of refreshment stalls and areas which, traditionally, includes bars, café, tea garden, caterers: Thai, Sri Lankan, Burgers, German Sausage. Many community and support groups, institutions, voluntary organisations, charities and businesses attend each year and Stalls include: art, crafts, clothes, cakes, bric-a-brac, jewellery and many more. Sporting activities continue through the afternoon and the event is attended by football, rugby, tennis, and canoeing clubs.
