In this module, we will discuss:-

4. There are four stages for processing an order

5. Before processing the order. You will have to ask the customer for the Order ID and Pickup Code. The
customer can check the Order ID and Pickup Code using either of the following three ways -

6. The customer will receive the
order confirmation message
along with the Order ID and
Pickup Code
The customer will receive the
Push notification on the Paytm
Mall App along with the Order ID
and Pickup Code
Note: Please ensure that you have enabled the Paytm Mall Push notification feature.

7. Open the Paytm Mall app and
tap on the Menu option
Tap on the My orders tab

The customer can check the
pickup code here

9. In case the customer does not receive the Pickup Code via SMS, you can also resend the same by following these
steps -
Click on the Orders tab
Check and confirm the Order ID
Click on Send Pickup Code
The Pickup code will be resent to
the customer via SMS

marked as Delivered

17. Points to remember
1. Always enter the correct Order ID, otherwise, you will not be able to process the order

2. Ensure that you have completed all the steps related to order processing before handing over the
package to the customer

3. Always get your invoice generated & keep it handy before processing an order because you will not
be able to process the order without the retail invoice number

4. In case the order is not processed on time, it will lead to its cancellation and the customer will get the
money back. Under this scenario, you will not be refunded or compensated for that order
