3. WHO ARE CONDE NAST?
• Conde nast are the distruibuters that I have decided to use. Conde Nast is a broad
communications organization headquartered at One World Trade Center in New
York City. The organization has more than 164 million shoppers over its 20 print and
advanced media brands: Allure, Architectural Digest, Ars Technica, Bon Appétit,
Brides, Condé Nast Traveler, Details, Epicurious, Glamor, Golf Digest, Golf World, GQ,
Lucky, The New Yorker, Pitchfork Media, Self, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair, Vogue, W and
Wired. The organization was established in 1909 by Condé Montrose Nast and has
been claimed and worked by the Newhouse family since 1959. Robert A. Sauerberg,
Jr. is Condé Nast's CEO and president, Charles H. Townsend is its director and
Samuel Irving Newhouse, Jr. is its director emeritus. The organization increased
Condé Nast Entertainment in 2011 to create film, TV and advanced video
programming. The organization also claims Fairchild Fashion Media and its

4. • Conde nast will be able to publish and distribute my magazine to many
distributor/business within the UK, as they already have an established
consumer base and therefore thus the reason why I have decided to
choose Conde nast, although they usually don’t publish the type of
genre in which my magazine is. In task 5, during my presentation, I
didn’t mention what publisher I had chosen as at this point I still was
not sure. I have considered choosing a smaller publishing company as
they are always pioneering for new technologies/research, etc… and
therefore they are more creative and also original. Some of the smaller
companies publish both digital and hardcopies and will also gain my
magazine a lot of readers.
5. • In task 5 in my presentation I didn’t mention what publisher I had
chosen this was because I wasn’t sure whether I want a small company
to publish and distribute my magazine. This is because smaller
magazine are innovative therefore they are more creative and original
and some of the smaller media publishers, publish both hardcopies and
ezines. However I think by choosing a more mainstream publisher will
help me achieve more sales and encourage a bigger audience for be
magazine.
6. WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER
• Conde nast are able to offer us a service that will publish my magazine and this is
what I took time considering whether to go for the safer option which this is surely
is not. I think that the out come of how the magazine will appear will hopefully be
very appealing to a majority of the public of the target audience this applies to. Due
to the company being such a big organisation the expectation of there work will be
to a high standard therefore this will be a 100% professional andliving up to the
expected standard of Conde Nast as this a vital way to increase readership
