The document provides instructions for completing a reflective practice assignment in which students will: 1) Create blog posts responding to 11 questions to reflect on various events. 2) Make PowerPoint presentations with their responses and upload them to a presentation tool while recording audio narration. 3) Embed the videos in their blog posts and share the blog links. The 11 reflection questions address topics like describing the event, connecting with others, questions that arose, relating content to teaching, thoughts and feelings during the event, challenges, future steps, and questions for further research.

1. Reflective Practice
1. Get a new or use your blog (Tumblr, Google Blogger, or Wordpress).
2. Respond to each of the 11 questions (that follow) for each event in a blog
post.
3. Create a PowerPoint of your reflection (images only) and copy/paste the
responses to the 11 questions in the notes of the slides.
4. Upload the PowerPoint presentations to one of the following: Knovio,
PresentMe
5. Record your voice using one of the above tools or use Screencast-o-matic.
6. If you don’t want to add your voice, use the notes on your slides and upload
the PowerPoint to SlideSpeech. The system will speak the notes.
7. Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo.
8. Add (embed) the video to your blog post (one for each event)
9. Share the link of the blog with the blog post or posts.

1. Give the title, date, presenter, course number or name, and
where the presentation took place (online/face-to-face).
2. Describe the event very briefly.
3. Did you connect with the other attendees or the speaker? If
so, how?
4. What questions came up as you watched the event?
5. How did the content relate to you as a teacher and/or
learner or individual?
6. What were some of the thoughts that went through your
mind as your watched the presentation?

7. How did you feel as you watched the event? If you felt
good, what made you feel good? If you felt discomfort,
what made you feel discomfort?
8. What challenges might you encounter in implementing
some of the ideas?
9. What steps can you take to resolve the challenges?
10.What would you like to do in the future as a result of what
you heard, read, saw?
11.Write a question or 2 that you would like to research (look
into) as a result of the event.
