2. What song have you chose and why
did you choose it?
• The song we have chosen to do is
“New Man” the reason we have
chosen this song because as
soon as we heard the song we
started to come up with ideas. We
also all thought that as young
people who have gone through
break ups and know what it feels
like to see the other person move
on we can bring in real emotions
in and our own experiences into
the video.
3. What genre is it?
• Another reason we chose
the song was because of its
genre because the genre
we all enjoy is pop, which is
the genre of the song. This
is good because it’s a fun
and energetic song which
makes it easier as it has a
clear beat so when it
comes to editing we are
able to edit it on the beat at
the right time.
4. What are some of your initial ideas for
the video?
• Some of the ideas that we first
came up with were to set it in a
main city or town. This is
because we can get loads of
different shots.
• We also want it to relate a lot to
the lyrics of the song and have
a strong meaning behind it
about how much he misses her.
• We want some of the shots to
look like its from her ex
boyfriend (the artist) eyes. This
will be a point of view shot and I
think that will be very
interesting to see how we can
use this.
5. Who is the performer, and what will
they be doing?
• In this there will have to be
more than one performer as
for our ideas to work we
need at least 3.
• Tom will be playing the ex-
boyfriend ( The Artist)
• Nathan will be playing the
“New Man”
• Issie will be playing the
girlfriend
• And we will use the public as
extras to set the scene.
6. What shooting locations do we have in
mind and what is the vibe of the video?
Some locations that relation
to the song are
. Pub/ club
. Gym
. Shopping/
spending loads of money
We want to give the
impression that her “New
Man” is better in everyway
but he still isn’t him.
