Born in Brooklyn, New York on July 19, 1953.
Graduated taken 1971 & gained an athletic scholarship to
Northern Michigan University.
Received his bachelor’s degree in business and marketing in
1975.
After college, he was a salesman for Xerox.
After noticing a store that kept buying an unusual no: of
coffee makers then he go to that store named STARBUCK.
After a year of trying to join the starbucks company, they were
convinced and hired Schultz.
Now he is the chairman and CEO of starbucks and a former
owner of the Seattle Super Sonics.

Starbucks corporation, generally known as Starbucks coffee.
Is an American global coffee company and coffeehouse chain
based in Seattle, Washington.
Company started in 1971 in Seattle, Washington.

1982- Howard Schultz joins Starbucks as Director of Retail
Operations and Marketing.
1987- Glornale acquires Starbucks assets and changes name to
Starbucks Corporation. Opens in Chicago and Canada Total

1996- Opens first store outside of North America in Japan and
Singapore. Total stores: 1015.
