16. This app is a joint development between Imobisoft Ltd and Birmingham
Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The app has been developed so
that patients with long-term paediatric conditions can input their symptoms
onto a smartphone, and then send them to a database for review by
clinicians. This allows clinicians to monitor the symptoms of patients when
the symptoms actually occur and provide parents or a young person with
immediate feedback on how their lifestyle or treatment impacts on their
symptoms. It also provides immediate personalised education to help
patients to self-manage their condition.
This app is being piloted for patients with chronic constipation, anorectal
malformation or Hirschsprung’s Disease under the care of Mr Oliver Gee and
Mr Ingo Jester at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The app will enable
patients to manage their conditions more effectively by having more control
and information on a daily basis.
There is currently no known other healthcare app like this in the UK.

Once you submit your feedback from the home screen, your comments will
be sent over to the UX team who will contact you within in the same working
day to let you what it is they are going to do to make your life easier.

Northern Gas Networks - My UX
18. The Lullaby Trust Baby Check contains 19 simple checks which test for
different symptoms or signs of illness. Each check has a score. Go through all
checks, the scores will be automatically added. The higher the score the
sicker the baby is likely to be. This app has been designed to help you decide
whether your baby needs a doctor. Although it is accurate most of the time,
its advice cannot be guaranteed. If you are still worried about your baby,
consult a doctor.
The Lullaby Trust Baby Check was developed from a 4-year project which
analysed the signs and symptoms of illness in over 1,000 babies under 6
months of age. There were 300 well babies at home and 700 babies in
hospital with a variety of illnesses. All signs and symptoms were analysed to
find the combination which could be used to assess the severity of a baby’s
illness with the most accuracy. The 19 signs and symptoms now used in Baby
Check were found to give the most accurate assessment.

19. Mobile application delivers Promotional Guide(PG) material in an innovative
and engaging manner. The aim of the app is to allow users to think about
their baby’s development in both pre and post natal situations. The app is
required to be interesting, entertaining and captivating with the lowest
levels of jargon and
developmental terminology. The app will then allow the planning and the
support of the user’s activity.
Cards: The content will be centred around the existing PG card packs created
by SLaM.There are Post & Pre-natal cards with 9 cards in each pack.

Our Babies and us App
20. The problem faced by BSkyB was finding a quick
and efficient way to collect the relevant user data
from their employees. The method chosen would
have to ensure minimal paperwork, while also
achieving a degree of automation that could make
it easier to implement.Imobisoft was tasked with
creating a fully integrated survey solution that
would allow BSkyB to individually assess each staff
member and obtain the required information from
them.This information was then sent to an online
database that would be fully usable by BSkyB to
complete the migration to Windows 7.
The data was fully encrypted to ensure maximum
security levels and was available to be extracted
by BSkyB when and if needed.
