3. Do you think the article is eye
Sales
catching?
Yes
No
Just over half of the
people I questioned
said that they think the
article is eye catching.
To improve this I will
break up the large
section of text in the
main article by adding
in things such as stand
out quotes. Using a
bright colour of this
quote will make the
page more colourful
and therefore stand out
to the reader.
4. If you saw this article would it encourage
you to go and see the film it is advertising?
Sales
Yes
No
The majority of people
said that they would go
see this film if they saw
this article, after talking to
people I questioned, I
found this is because it
had a start rating and also
told you information
about the running time
and certificate. To
improve this I could add
some more information
about the film that would
interest the audience,
such as interesting facts in
a ‘look closer’ section
which is sometimes
featured in Empire
magazine articles.
5. Do you think this article looks like one
which would be featured in a real life
Sales
half the
magazine? Just underout the people
who filled
Yes
No
evaluation said that they
did not think it looked like
it would be featured in a
real magazine. I asked
some of they whey they
thought thins and they
said it was too plain. Bt
adding in the ‘look closer’
section and the stand out
quote I feel that my
magazine spread will look
more realistic and like it
would be featured in a
magazine.
6. Does the article give you enough
information about what the film is
Sales
about?
Yes
No
Nearly ¾ people said
that they had enough
information about the
film by reading the
article. This is because of
facts at the beginning of
an article. To add more
information I will add a
‘look closer’ section to
my article which will
feature facts that the
audience may not know
about the film.
7. What genre would you say this film is?
Sales
Drama
Romance
Crime
Thriller
Most people said that form looking at the article they knew the genre of the film. The
other genres that were mentioned, could all be hybrid’s of drama within my film as they
film features conventions form crime, romance and thriller within it.
