The SINODA is a multifunctional, disposable oxygen delivery and nebulizer adapter. It can simultaneously deliver nebulized medications and various medical gases. The SINODA is designed to utilize existing respiratory care equipment. It has a simple design with minimal parts, making it safe and easy to use for multiple patient populations and clinical settings.
2. SINODA
• Multi-configurational
• Multi-functional
• Structural improvement
• Utilizing existing technology
• Single patient use
• Disposable
• Latex free
• Cost effective
• Easy to use
• Easy to understand
• Minimum education
• Safety futures
• MRI compatible
• Procedural
It is a multifunctional, disposable, single patient use, latex free adapter and
should be discarded after use. It is cost effective and easy to use. This product
is safe due to the minimum number of moving parts.
3. SINODA
• SINODA adapter is designed for different
pieces of technology to put into one. This
adapter can be utilized by all health care
professionals, including paramedics,
firefighters, hospital staff, hospice, long
term care facilities, animal clinics, and
even on the battle field
• SINODA can be used with all existing
respiratory medications, even Mucomyst
without the concern of sticky valves. At
the same time it can deliver and mix
different medical gases like Air, Oxygen,
Nitric Oxide and Helium Mixtures
4. SINODA adapts to:
• Most standardized adapters
• Most nebulization cups
• Corrugated oxygen tubing
• Reservoir bag
• Venturi mask and Devices
• Face Tent & Tracheostomy Collars
• Simple and non-rebreather oxygen mask
• High & Low Oxygen Delivery Systems
• Cool & Heated Aerosol Delivery System
• Most neonatal, pediatric and adult oxygen masks
5. SINODA APPLICATION:
Any patient in need of simultaneously delivery
of nebulizer treatment and/or Air, Oxygen,
Helium Mixture, Nitric Oxide, etc.
• Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (aka, ARDS)
patients and/or Respiratory Distress Syndrome
(aka, RDS) patients
• Chronic patients (like, COPD patients – Preserve
Hypoxic Drive)
• Any patients with increased Work of Breathing
(aka, WOB) and/or any patients with Shortness of
Breath (aka, SOB)
7. • For the patient in acute
cardio-pulmonary
distress, who require
high oxygen
concentration via non-
rebreather mask and
deliver nebulized
therapy at the same time
• Cost effective solution
compare to the Neb-U-
Mask system
Applications of SINODA device
8. For acutely ill patients,
who require high oxygen
concentration, you can
increase the flow of
oxygen by applying double
reservoir bags to create
turbulent flow and meet
higher patient’s oxygen
demand via higher flow
and CPAP effect.
Applications of SINODA device
9. • For a Status Asthmaticus
patients, double
nebulization cups can be
utilized and deliver
double amount of
medication with a
shorted period of time
• Avoids the cost of
continuous nebulizing
treatment
Applications of SINODA device
10. For chronically ill patients, who
don’t require high oxygen
concentration, you can mix low
and precise percentage of
oxygen, like 24% FiO2, provided
by venti-mask and give
nebulized therapy to the patient
via air compressor while not
compromising patient’s CO2
drive. It will prevent COPD
patients from a condition
known as a suppressed hypoxic
drive and saves patients to be
placed on ventilator.
Applications of SINODA device
11. For an open stoma or
tracheostomy patients with
T-Collar Masks, who required
to use Cooling or Heated
oxygenation and
humidification, the use of this
adapter will help to provide
simultaneous respiratory
treatments without
interrupting oxygenation and
humidification.
Applications of SINODA device
12. • For trauma or post-op
patients with facial
surgery requiring Face
Tents, the use of this
adapter is also beneficial.
It fits perfectly into
corrugated flexible tubing
and other devices
• It also allows for nebulizer
delivery at the same time
Applications of SINODA device
13. • A singular tube and attached dog leg all with tapered
ports
• It maintains an “open system concept”
• It is designed to be used for non-ventilated patients,
where patient’s spontaneous respiratory rate is
required
• It does not produce aerosolized medication and it does
not make adjustments to the oxygen concentration
• It ensures delivery of the medication and medical
gases at the various rates and concentrations
• It has capability to mix different inhalation gases at
the same time and ability to control precise
percentage of the inhalation gas
• It is designed to be utilized with already existing
respiratory care disposable equipment
• It could be used as a passageway, assembly or
connector
Unique Design of SINODA
14. • Minimum number of moving parts
• Multifunctional
• Simplicity, uniqueness and versatility
• Utilizes standardized existing technology
• An “open system concept”
• Tapered ports
Safety Features of SINODA
15. Advantages of SINODA
• Utilizes dual Non-Rebreathers and Rebreathers masks
• Utilizes dual Nebulizers
• Adapts to Cool and Heated Aerosol Delivery Systems with
presided FiO2
• Adapts to High and Low Oxygen Delivery Systems
• Adapts to Venti-Mask, Simple Oxygen Mask, Face Tent,
Tracheostomy Collars and Corrugated Flexible tubing
• Adapts to most neonatal, pediatric and adult oxygen
masks
16. Cost Effective Benefits of SINODA
• Could be used instead of Neb-U-Mask system
• Can replace Tee Adapter without spring-loaded
valve in most cases
• Can replace Tee Adapter with a spring-loaded valve
on non-ventilated patients in some cases
• Will save money due to simplicity, versatility of the
device and ability to perform multiple tasks at the
same time
• It will limit the amount of equipment you need to
buy
