Needs Assessment
A needs assessment is a process that describes a
discrepancy between the actual state of skills,
knowledge or behavior and a desired state. A
needs assessment describes the performance gap
and in doing so determines the appropriate response
to improve performance.

A needs assessment describes where we are, where
we want to be, and how to get there.
