2. Shot(s) Potential Hazard Likelihood (/10) Preventative Measures
1 – 4 Getting out of a car onto the road. The
actor must be aware of cars driving by.
4 Park the car the other way round so the
actor gets out of the car onto the
pavement.
6 My two dogs could get in the way of
filming and it is possible that the actor
could trip over the dogs if they get in
the way of a shot that is being filmed.
6 Ask parents to keep the dogs in
room while the filming is going on.
Therefore, the filming will not be
interrupted.
7, 13, 16 – 17 The actor walking around the room
could trip over the tripod and break the
camera as well as hurting themselves.
5 Keep tripod far away from the bed
the girl is walking around it while still
making sure that the camera is picking
up the right camera angle.
19 – 20 The camera could accidentally hit the
actor on the head because for these
shots, the camera is being held right
above the actor’s face.
2 Do not hold the camera directly above
the girl’s head. Hold it up at an angle
while still managing to get the correct
shot.
24 – 25 The actor is wheeling a suitcase down a
hall and could trip over the tripod. This
could break the camera and hurt the
actor.
4 Keep the equipment to the side of the
hall so the actor does not trip over.
29 The actor jumps up and runs away from
the shot. The actor could trip over the
tripod as she goes.
5 Keep the equipment a small distance
away from the actor. This is so the
camera and tripod do not break and
actor does not hurt themselves.
3. Shot Potential Hazard Likelihood (/10) Preventative Measures
30 The actor spins around. The
camera could hit the actor if it is
too close to her.
2 Keep away the camera an
appropriate distance from the
actor.
32 The actor is on a swing. If they
are not careful, they could fall
and hurt their leg or hit their
head, worst case scenario.
4 Ensure that the actor swings at a
slow rate so that they do not
hurt themselves.
41 In this shot, the actor throws an
engagement ring. This could
accidentally hit someone and
hurt them if the ring is thrown
too far.
3 Throw the ring a short distance
and do it in a place where there
is no one in view of the camera.
49 The actor jumps up from the
ground and runs over to a

actor could hurt themselves as
well.
4 Keep the equipment a safe
distance from the actor’s
point.
53 The two girls run across the park
in this shot. They could trip over
and hurt themselves if they are
too close together.
3 Keep actors a small distance
from each other when they are
running.
