1. ROLE PLAY
Students have to do a role play where they have to broadcast the following weather

the structures of this type of tasks:

2. BANK HOLIDAY – WEATHER FORECAST
Hello there, with the bank holiday weekend approaching and many of us having some
outdoor plans. Though we’ll take a little look at our latest thoughts as what the forecast
will hold.
Throughout much of this week high pressure remains in the south, keeping things dry
and fine.
To the north a bit of a different story because there are going to be some weather fronts
bringing thicker clouds and up breaks of rain at times and pegging the temperatures
down.
By Friday we are thinking that this weather front is going to make grater progress
further south and east across the country. The exact timing of that bound of cloud and
rain is open to quite a high level of uncertainty, at the moment. But once it does clear
through, our confidence then, climbs. The pressure will start to climb for Sunday and
Monday settling things down, so most of the country will enjoy some dry weather with
sunny bows and with pressure relatively high that also brings with it light winds.
Although clear skies mean temperatures will tumble during the night the risk of frost
and also some fairly chilly mornings. But it is early May, so though temperatures
disappointing to start off with given that strong sunshine, they should climb to around
about average for the time of year, so that’s 12 to 14 degrees.
As the weekend goes on we could even get a little bit higher than that. Well, of course
keep you updated is a long way of, at the moment, in forecast in terms and we will give
you our latest thoughts here on our weather website.
