Synopsis SUSTAINABLE TOURISM exposes students to the techniques in managing
tourism resources and to reduce the negative impact of tourism development.
Students are exposed to the sustainable development progress topics such as
conservation and preservation, carrying capacity, environmental impact
assessment and visitor management techniques used to minimize the negative
impacts. Students will learn about tourists, tourism operators and local
community code of ethics.
